I don’t like plain tomatoes. Can I substitute something else?
@NastassjaCanCook7 күн бұрын
I don't like them either. For this diet and the soup, it is a necessary ingredient if you want to follow it and get results.

There was not potatoes in 9th century Hungary !
@NastassjaCanCook10 күн бұрын
The dish itself originated in the 9th century. Modifications to it were made in the modern world, based on the ingredients available and popular. 😊

no tomatoes?
@NastassjaCanCook13 күн бұрын
Hello 👋 Not for red shurpa. Red c9lor is achieved by adding paprika. In the original recipe of Shurpa, tomatoes are used.
@user-0xDEEDBEEF13 күн бұрын
@@NastassjaCanCook paprika is used in normal shurpa too. Tomatoes are required for sourness to balance the sweetness of the other vegetables. Shurpa is well known as a balanced soup from the taste point of view.

I used Concord Grape and Tart Cherry - adding a couple more Tbsp of sugar..... OMG! Soooo delicious. I used a different recipe two days ago and they were AWFUL! This makes the CREAMIEST meringue and I cannot wait to see how they are after an overnight sit. I am beyond happy with just the taste and texture...how could they possibly go wrong overnight!? Thank you!!
@NastassjaCanCook20 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your feedback. I usually let them sit for 4-5 hours for softer consistency. Overnight will make them a little bit denser.

Don't you soak it overnight for better absorption of the nutritions in it ? Because every grain has anti nutritions which get removed after soaking.

No, not in this recipe, if you want fluffier buckwheat.

@@NastassjaCanCook thank you so much for answering my questions I have a few more. How long does it last in the refrigerator before the tomatoes and cucumbers stomach go soft? can this be served room temperature or served outdoors for a long period of time?

I might try this with venison instead of beef, although I might just use beef stock since my venison isn’t very fatty.

I put in two Thai chillies and garlic butter
@Dave_enАй бұрын
I usually make the dough with little more water to become sticky and then work out heavily. Thats how gluten gets to work. Then make a ball out of it and put it in corn meal so that it doesnt remain sticky. Corn meal adds extra flavour and taste to pizza. Then i push the middle of the dough using fingers to spread and further use knuckles to stretch the pizza base. The dough tends to shrink, thats why we need to stretch more and allow to rest for a while. Finally keep the base on tray dusted with corn meal and allow to rise a bit and bake with highest temperature available. When its half done, add sauce, toppings and cheese and bake till the cheese liquifies. I like to add fresh cream along with cheese for even better taste and flavour. Little bit of garlic powder if used while dusting the dough further enhances the taste.

Thank you so very much for sharing! It was, by far the easiest instructions I've seen. The only way this could get any easier would be if you actually baked them for me. 😉. Thanks again, take care! I forgot. What's the name of the song(s) in the background? Thanks
