I've played this part twice, and the stats were the same both times. And you can't edit them, I tried (that's in the other Somnodrome video I made).

Its interesting how few people see this. I don't know if they intended to make it so most people don't choose to enter it.

You need to say yes to 666 at the beginning, and I thought he was too suspicious when I played the game the first time, so I said no. And of course then I couldn't access the Somnodrome. Could be that it's a ploy to get people to play the game at least twice.

I agree about the game's philosophy stuff. I can imagine there's some kind of substance to it if one reads into it, and the itch description says it's "inspired by the 8-circuit model of consciousness." I don't know what that is and frankly I'm not interested based on what's shown in the game. The presentation of these elements does come across as rather messy, too, very much agree on that front. I quite liked the game though o,o as a series of neat-looking spaces, it was rather pleasant for me! The pool and swing sections in particular were very nice to inhabit c: so I got some value out of it in that regard. It was also enjoyably weird overall, just a bizarre inexplicable game. I'm pretty mixed on it too, but I think I view it a tad more positively >w> I guess in some sense it's akin to a low-budget, far less interesting version of The Beginner's Guide.

I've been thinking about the game afterwards, and it's maybe not quite as bad as I first thought, although not worth replaying. Basically too empty as something like this should have a lot of stuff to explore and find.

Was hoping you answering differently than I would have led to a different result. I went directly to the moral question and you didn't but some how ended up with a moral answer, so I wonder if all of roads lead to the same destination on this one.

The result seems to be the same whatever you choose. It really needs to be as the answer is needed for the storyline.

I did that too on the first playthrough, which is one of the reasons I had to play this again.

@@petmach It's about the choice you can have with the first one. If you choose to keep it, you can't access the second one. If you connect to the first one or just skip it altogether - you can access the second one.

i chose to keep and study the first one, and was able to use it in my playthrough, so they either changed it since or there's something else that impacts that option@@FaustRSI

I've read somewhere it's when you interact with Doge (666) that gives you access to this Somnodrome.

Huh, this popped up randomly in my suggested videos, stayed for the entire video! The collecting vibe reminds me of Stardew Valley, while the forest exploring factor is similar to Voices of The Void (this one is free, but more spooky). I recommend both!
