Skating was a big part of the social scene for us young teens in the mid 1970's. Hanging at the rink with old friends and meeting new ones, ladies choice. The lights, the attached arcade, the snack bar. It was a full night out and five bucks would get you the whole experience. Man....Back in the day.

It's good. For sure. I had an abortion, tho, a poor white girl from Michigan. I was 19. I've never regretted it. Went on to be married at 24 and have 2 sons I was ready for. Love every second of being their mom.
