I remember in 2003 when the special Olympics were in Ireland the swimming event was held locally to where I live. I was in a shop and this beautiful Downes Syndrome kid came in holding the medals he had won. His amazing smile out shone the sun. He was so happy and justifiably proud of himself. Everyone in the shop applauded him and he really must felt like he king for a day. It’s so wrong that all people kids as nd adults alike who have Downes Syndrome should be stigmatised. They are beautiful intelligent talented people who deserve all the love and respect in the world. Calling them a retard is so so wrong on every level. I am a completely normal person with no disability at all yet I cannot swim a stroke. And yet that doesn’t make me disabled it just means I can’t swim. People born with Downes Syndrome are not retarded they were just born with an extra Chromosome and add ad far as I as I can see that extra chromosome just makes them extra special ❤

Thank God for Frank. What a brave and wonderful man. To anyone out there who thinks we should "eliminate Down's syndrome", when you start trying to value who should live and who should die, you are thinking like a true socialist. The mentality that someone's life is a "burden to the state" is pure evil. God grants everyone life and all humans matter. You can't remove Down's syndrome. That is just a twisted way of saying "murder people with Down's syndrome".

If it was an Indigenous woman with down syndrome she wouldn't have been recognized. Just because Madeline is a caucasian woman and her mother had the money to buy media's attention so she got to that status. What an evil money hungry world we live in.
