Black Cherry is definitely best left until it's quite deep purple color I think, you can definitely pick them when they're that maroon sort of color too though. I usually just throw them in the bowl and they're pretty deep purple within a few days

We bought ours online. If you live in an area that carries banana plants, you can check it out! We prefer not to recommend any particular source because we can’t verify if the plants are reliably good.

🙏! We try to be clear and succinct so that it’s easy to replicate :). These are Texas tomato cages…we got these online a couple of years ago. And also, it’s not practical for most people to do the water/soil method to start slips…we try to make it as easy and practical as possible to start. Thanks for the kind comments!!

Love watching your journey with the chickens. The omlet is having a sale right now and i am considering one. I didnt see a video of cleaning the run. The new pro coop has the option to open the fence underneath. The cube doesn't have that option. How hard or easy is it to undo the fence from underneath the coop to sweep up debris? Thanks in advance!
@practicalorganiclivingАй бұрын
It’s harder to clean underneath the coop and you also need room to move so we think it’s inconvenient. But it’s definitely a nice option for the model to have that option! We’ll try to get to a video on cleaning the room this fall. Thanks for the request!!

Great review! Maybe it had an effect on the company as they've introduced a new large model that addresses some of your concerns. Just goes to show what happens when informed consumers hold these companies' feet to the fire. This now puts the Eglu at the top of my list (so far) in my preparation to purchase chickens next Spring. Also, I had not thought about the hole spacing of the wire enclosure. Here in Germany mice-r-us! Hardwire cloth would be mandatory. I used it on my diy coop when I was living in the American south, where the biggest concern was snakes, and it worked very well. Again, many thanks, and keep us updated.
