@@hotcago7197thank you very much!!! I am using zuera vtr 145cc aspirated to cylinder! Same eletronic, carburator is betther dellorto 30 vhsh primary 27/69 and cluster with 3/4 gear short 10/14/17/21. Did you bored the carters for crankshaft?

Very cool Lunchbox and a good how to do! But it is a differential delete like used on the real Monster Jam Trucks and not a Posi. GM Positraction is a limited slip differential. The wheels are still able to turn differently, until the speed difference goes too high. Then it starts to lock itself.

So Adam still needed to adjust the shifter cables and I think it was in between neutral and first and it jumped into first gear 😂

That's awesome... van looks superb, wonder if I could ask alittle advice. I've just put a sport tuned motor in mine, the motor spins, but I'm getting zero drive, almost like its not engaging. What am I doing wrong..?

So motor spins. Is the motor gear aligned with the transmission gear? There is that plastic mount that mounts to the motor, from memory it would fit more than one way but if it was wrong the gears didn’t touch. Hope that helps!

@hotcago7197 yeah motor spins fine,..and correct, plastic mount is fixed on the motor housing, I bet its my user error., i thought it was going too well lol.. thanks for the reply, very much appreciated 👍🏼

Alittle late to the party, im just getting my original Lunchbox back up and running with up to date parts, this is a sweet looking LB, those tyres are stunning, i noted you mentioned they were from RCmart, are they on the standard black LB rims? great little upgrade too. 🤙

It’s never too late lol. Yes in that video they are on the standard LB rims but later I changed them to the chrome rims like on the Wild Willy. Thanks!

There are 2 bulbuls in the tail light. One is always on and the other turns on when the brake pedal is pressed. Is that what you were asking about? This scooter has no turn signals.

I don’t recall where or what brand it is (maybe Yokomo?). I know it’s for RC Drift I would do a search and check out what’s available. I did have to cut it so it was the width of the body.

Legit question. What exactly is the point of doing this? Does it help or hurt the performance?

Performance is probably a broad term. I did all of this to prove to myself I could take a non-RC drift chassis add more angle and drift on rubber tires. So it performs a specific task (not very good on off-road anymore). I have a first drive video with the stock tires on concrete with light snow and then in my basement (slick concrete) with slick tires. I was very happy with how it preforms the task!

Also I suppose if you wanted to just drive very fast in a straight line it would also handle very well (probably would adjust suspension to do that)

Did you have to make any modifications to fit it? I read that the Stellas/LMLs have different plugs etc. that need an adapter for the SIP speedos.

I listed the parts I used in the description but I don’t have the part numbers. A lot of those parts are discontinued also. The front lower arms/knuckles would be the same as on a Yokomo YD2 if that helps.

With this brushless combo, do you have to modify the transmission gears or it is the plastic ones from stock ? (locking differentials is a mandatory for this conversion or not ?)

I did not modify the transmission gears and no you do not need to lock the differential.
