Great hatdware. Minor nit-pick, it was standard for the LMP to launch in the right seat, but for A11, due to training considerations while waiting for Collins to recover from neck surgury, Buzz launched in the center seat

When I was 8 back in '71, I wrote a letter to "NASA, Houston Texas" asking if they were going to throw away any Apollo capsule control panels after the program was over anyway, could they just send them to me. I wanted to build a play spaceship in my backyard. About six weeks later, the postman delivered a cardboard tube. Inside were three blueprint diagrams of the CSM control panels and a note saying that the the hardware was probably going to museums, but these might help. My Dad glued them to the inside of a washing machine box and I traveled to all the planets and many stars over the next few years.
