anyone who can't find their server name when going to 'services.msc' you need to uninstall 'microsoft odbc driver 17 for sql server' or any old driver ---- go to control > programs > uninstall a program you will find it there, uninstall it restart computer reinstall microsoft sql server and SMSS you will then find the server name show up on your 'services' hopefully, then type it in your smss to log in
