If I was interested in this bike but with the adjustable stem that comes with the Verve so I could shorten the reach and be more upright and comfortable, would I have to cut some mouth and eye holes in a paper bag to wear over my head before I could be seen riding in public? What if I also changed to a Selle Royal Men's Freeway Moderate saddle or even worse (I shudder to think) a Selle Royal Respiro Gel saddle?

Why are you showing different bikes in one shot you show forks made of steel, also the disk brakes are they really tektro branded. Anybody watching this video will get confused. This video is absolutely RUBISH, even the commentary with the mechanical female robot voice is an absolute turn off

Yes Trek has confirmed 2023 is just a rollover from 2022. Beware of any retailer selling 2023 at a premium over 2022.
