Arnel does so incredible on so many songs, even surpassing Steve on some, but this is one that I don't think anyone can sing half as good as Steve

Arnel is so effortlessly Perry but I appreciated Augeri's versions a bit more just because he didnt have that pitch, had to make it his own while STILL being Journey.

@@123dasilva4 Não estou afirmando que ele deva voltar a cantar, estou simplesmente e claramente afirmando que ele é insubstituível. Agora ficar cantando as mesmas músicas do Steve, no estilo criado por ele, e ainda sem carisma nenhum, nunca vai passar apenas de um cover.

Arnel’s voice is absolutely amazing they couldn’t have found anyone better to replace Steve! He’s got the voice, stage presence and a great looking guy he’s in his 50’s and looks like he’s 25. Not many singers in their 50’s that can sing half as good as Arnel.

Close your eyes and it’s hard to tell it’s not Steve. A true rags to riches study for Arnel, from homeless to rockstar and frontman for Journey. A true legendary vocalist. Steve couldn’t hit these notes anymore with the precision that Arnel does and Arnel is 20 years younger. It’s a shame it sounds like he’s going to be leaving the band after 15/16 years, but Deen and Jason have proven they can sing a lot of these songs very well too. So much respect for Arnel. 👊👊
