High Nuno, I have the metal filings in my pump, I’m waiting on a good used pump to arrive, and I have purchased a set of reconditioned injectors as 2 of mine were faulty. Can you give me any advice on cleaning out the fuel lines and fuel tank etc. lots of people are say to replace everything with new parts which seems crazy, surely there is a way to properly clean everything. I was going to flush the lines through with clean diesel an compressed air, maybe use brake cleaner on fuel injector lines. Can I re use the rail and injector lines if I can clean them somehow. Thanks for any advice you can give, Cheers, Chris , Blackwood, south wales.

@@chrsrans1 hello mate. Yes it's a good start to clean the fuel lines. But you don't need to clean the fuel line before the fuel filter. After the fuel filter you can clean them. Any metal bits coming from the tank will be trapped by the fuel filter. A clean diesel or brake cleaner should be perfect. Now i would recommend cleaning the rail very well. Any metal bits could damage your new injectors. Bleed the system before starting the vehicle. If you follow my videos about this matter you should be fine.

I have a question. So I replaced the high pressure pump and cleaned the fuel thank also the injectors but still no pumping pressure to the injectors and yes the low pressure pump works

Did you use a scanner to prime the pump? Snap on autel or bmw software is needed for that.

Just upgraded today, was paying £40 a month as I was out of contract for super fast and they upgraded me to £33 a month then when I asked if they had a new router as it’s the same one I had since 2018 they offered me WiFi max gave me a bigger discount now for £32 a month then said that I have a dead spot in my flat and they said if I have issues with the signal on the new router they said to get in touch and they will send out one of their pods free of charge, I thought that was weird but now seeing this and that a lot of people are having this issue it makes sense now they are doing it as a solution to the signal strength issue. Over all I’m paying £8 less a month with a newer but maybe worse signal router so can’t complain with that. One thing that I’m left perplexed by is why they don’t contact existing customers to offer this before contracts to keep people when they clearly can offer good deals to existing customers as well as new ones blows my mind.

This was fantastic. Just what I need because I'm gradually working my way through the problems. I think I have a faulty suction valve regulator on the High pressure pump but i've changed the EKPM pump control module (low pressure pump), the fuel filter, done a leak-off test and changed an injector as well as the fuel regulator on the common rail. Very hard to identify exactly where the fault is. Thanks very much.

new hub iss wifi 6 and WPA3 so way more secure then your old one and your normal person so default security is fine, these hubs are made on mass for mass use. best hopes are always paid ones from third partys

I'm with Sky 7 years and recently had to get a replacement router from them and basically no WiFi in my home now. They even sent out a booster (never needed a booster before) and no difference at all. Quite obvious they've downgraded the tech in the new routers to previous models.

Taking out the 40amp fuse gets the P/S to go away and steering to work for a few rides, so does taking off the battery for a few hours, I want to know if this fix lasted after this video or it only worked cause you disconnected the battery for a few rides ?

The battery didn't help on this fix. Battery disconnected after connect back last 1 minute then gives error again. Since that video the car still drives with no problems. I service this car every year. The clutch was replaced last year also. Happy days 😊

@@LykeArgy hi. Are u sure you solder everything nicely? Also is good after that procedure to recalibrate the angle sensor. Connect a diagnostic tool and perform it. Should help.

@@axores20 don't have a tool but the solders seemed fine to me, i'm no pro tho, that was maybe my 5th time soldering, i could take it off and get it to an electronic repair shop to have them solder it 100% properly but who knows if that would fix it, it could be that one of the parts are damaged, i didn't see any burn marks tho

Focus st diesel engine died while driving rac mechanic says timing belt had snapped . New engine or re-build ? Todays labour costs are soaring. Uk based if anyone has been quoted for a rebuild before . Car still need to be inspected as its just happened

No engine rebuild. Just replace the rockers. Check for no damage on the camshafts. New timing belt kit and also you will need to replace the chain and tensioner. New injector seals. Job done 😊

I’m surprised you got the Q hub because that was replaced with the Sky Broadband Hub a long time ago. I have the Sky Broadband Hub which looks like the Max Hub but in black colour and has 4 Ethernet ports. Never had a problem with it as of now. I can’t even get the Max Hub if I wanted to because I have a gfast connection and the Max Hub hardware doesn’t support this kind of connection. I also heard the Max Hub’s features are more limited compared to the Broadband Hub.

VHello,have a Citroen C4 1.6,vehicle show antipollution fault and sometimes idle high,change upstream oxygen sensor as per diagnostic report,and now at cold start car vibrates,misfires,show antipollution fault and fan runs,switch off engine,fan still running,switch off engine,disconnect battery and car fault disappear and running fine,can someone help me? Anti pollution is down to a misfire. Have the spark plugs been changed? Did you check the scanner if it shows any cylinders misfires?

@@axores20 Hello,thanks Nuno,I recently changed the spark plugs since 3 months,there was misfire on cylinder no2,injector no2 fault,replaced injector,still fault,technician did compression test on it and said was ok and they replaced the ECU in December and was ok and after 03 hours intermittent misfiring,asked me to replace upstream oxygen sensor,but now only at cold start the vehicle misfire,the antipollution fault appear,the fan run

My mondeo is keyless and wouldn’t go in service mode so this video helped massively, I couldn’t understand why the old inner pad had worn at an angle? And not evenly like the outta pad but new pads are on and all working great 👍 thanks for the insight

386971256115 ebay item Above flywheel locking tool. You really need that to remove the crank bolt. Camshaft you can use 6mm drill bit to lock it in place. 😊

Oil filter torque is crucial on these engines. Sometimes the filter does not seaĺ well.

Yes but torque settings is not that much on these pumps. I believe the valve was letting too much oil out thats why pressure was too low on idling. Interesting new pump is working great. But the previous pump lasted 4 years according to the owner. Let’s see this one how it does.

Thanks Nuno for sharing your work. This video helped me so much switching my fiesta glow plugs and fuel filter. You were also talking about misfires be related to the timing belt not being synced with the pump. I can’t say which pump you were referring but I got it swap buy a professional (timing belt) and, can be coincidence, my car when fuel is low at 100km/h or higher it starts misfiring a lot. I will be back updating if the new Bosch fuel filter helped on this behavior

Hi, just tried the HPFP connector disconnect on my VW Golf Mk 6 1.6 tdi, and try to start the engine. It will not start no sign of life. My engine has a 1.6 TDI CAYC HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP P/N= 03L130755E This is the Continental brand type. This appears to be totaly opposite to this VW 2009 Tiguan which appears to have a different HPFP fitted maybe a Bosch type.
