This is me riding the "Chairman 165"! On Heavenlie's side country! My best day ever was on my brand new Chairman 165 at Mt Rose a few yrs. back. I got word the "Chutes" were opening and beelined for the nearest gate anticipated to open. I pulled up to the Beehive chute gate and patiently waited for the rope to drop. There was about 20 people ahead of me mostly skiers. After about 10 min. the patrol skied up and dropped the gate. I was the last one through it and the first one down! I roasted by every one in front of me on the way down(cold smoked um!) and left them all in my wake! One particular skier approached me at the bottom and gave me an atta boy pat on the back. He said he couldn't catch me and ate my roost the whole way! It wasn't my first day in the chutes but it was my best thus far and it happened to be X-mas day with 16" of freshy! They passed out free Mt ROSE t shirts getting back on the lift! I wore it like an award with honor(what a gift), the best kind: free goods! Best turns of my life that day on by far the best board I've ever road to date.

Double checked and still looks correct! High T is the traverse that goes towards grouse rock! sun bowl and big bend can be accessed by the boot pack past Alpine Bowl Chair and skiing off the other side to sherwood. This is sometimes thought to be called High T but is actually the upper saddle!
