I used a kit from Pear Blossom Press - they make it so easy! You can find them online and they will also have KZfaq video's on how to use their products. Hope that helps.

These are so bright and happy! I haven’t used this sheetload yet as my card making has been on the back burner while I try to clean and purge my craft room also. When I manage to get some birthday cards made, I’ve been donating them to the Strathcona Food Bank for their birthday bag program. Have a great day! 🇨🇦

I really like that you stamp a greeting on the inside. It looks much more finished and professional. I’m new and trying to build my stash of inside sentiments. Thanks for sharing.
@KarenAicken24 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I almost always add sentiments inside my cards. Way back when I was starting out I had a stockpile of cards for my stash that had the fronts only done. I thought I could save time by grabbing one and adding a sentiment when it was time to send the card. But I found I often added the sentiment I thought of when I was working on the card, and then I had to get the stamps out, the ink, stamping block etc etc when I went to send the card. So now I just finish them off and enjoy going through my stash when I want to send a card to someone. 😊

@KarenAickenАй бұрын
Inside I used Karen Burniston's Twist Flower Pop Up die set, so I don't have dimensions. I just die cut and follow her assembly video. Actually I've used this set over a dozen times now so I don't even need to watch the video - it's quite easy to fold once you've done it. I will link her product page here - and the assembly video is there as well. Hope that helps! karenburniston.com/twist-flower-pop-up/

I'm so glad you liked my card! I always list my blog in the description if you are looking for more details etc, although that can be challenging to see for the KZfaq Shorts. Here is the link to this particular card: paintedmountaincards.blogspot.com/2024/04/hello-friend-flip-card.html Sorry to hear about your Mom - that's hard. As far as putting papers together, I would suggest buying either a package or pad because then most of what's included in there are meant to go together. Hope that helps.

I used Karen Burniston's new Lorna Label Pop Up die set - turned on its side! I didn't do an assembly video because Karen Burniston has assembly videos for all of her pop up dies including this one. Since you need the die set anyhow, it makes more sense to watch the designer make it and learn her tips! I prefer to show you different ways you can use those same dies since people love to see a variety of looks! Once you know how to assemble your die, the rest is card size, paper and colour choice as well as embellishments! You can change the look of your card every time you use the dies. 😊 You can find out how it's put together on her website at karenburniston.com. Hope that helps!

I'm so glad you liked my card! If you check out the description in the video, you will see where I posted the link to my blog, as well as the assembly video link. I used the Happy Birthday Wiper Insert along with the Wiper Card dies, so all the cutting and scoring was done when I ran them through my die cutting machine. The card is a top folding A2 sized card if that helps. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Thank you so much! I still do the Sheetload's every month and try to do a KZfaq video as well. But since I stepped down from the Collaboration Team I don't get them early ... I see them on the 1st of the month like everyone else. I'm usually excited to start the cards, but it takes awhile to get the photos, edit the video and get everything uploaded so that's why it's not at the beginning of the month anymore. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

Could list your favorite sentiment stamps for inside cards???
@KarenAicken2 ай бұрын
That's a hard one! I have more sentiment stamp sets than I do any other category of stamps and most of them I have had for many many years so they are long retired. I don't actually have favourites - although it's fair to say if I get a new sentiment set I use it quite a bit before I go back through my other ones. The companies that I like to buy sentiment stamps from are MFT Stamps, Penny Black and more recently Catherine Pooler. Those are sets I turn to again and again. Since most of them aren't available anymore I like to show what I've used in my video in case someone is looking to hunt one down on Ebay or wherever one does that! Oh - I do have a couple of sentiment sets from Stampin' Up as well that I like to use. Hope that helps!
@susieqmartin27462 ай бұрын
@@KarenAicken if you would just do 5 at a time, in one video a month let’s say, it would give me a better idea, of what to put in these cards. I have a small cricut Joy and I can have it write the sentiments, into the inside of the cards in different fonts. I’m just at a loss sometimes with, what to put inside the cards. Thank you so much for any help you can give me.
