I don’t know about a third season but maybe a possible movie but a third season would be great you would not hear my complaining🤔

A Gravity Falls movie is possible! It would have to be a theatrical release; I don't think Alex Hirsch would agree to a straight to Disney + film. Alex has stated before that he does have a few ideas in his head of future stories. If the Book of Bill does well (let's be honest, it will) then Disney will be more open to that possibility. Journal 3 continues to sell well despite it releasing about 7 years ago.

Alex Hirsch prefers to write books and not return to Gravity Falls. (Got your copy of "The Book of Bill" yet?) Still, the numerous odd fan fiction animations and comics shows that there's interest in a "See You Next Summer" movie. I hate to think what Disney would do with a "Dipper and Mabel in primary school" prequel. ("The American 'Bluey!") Is there a reason for a "Return to Gravity Falls" movie? No more than making "Firefly: Entering Reaver Space." Hollyweird's "creatives" have put their lack of life experience on display with middle- and primary-school level series and movies. But I still wonder what Dipper and Mabel have been doing since that epic Summer...

My copy comes in on Friday. I think Gravity Falls is far from a dead IP, so we could be getting more comics, shows movies, and books like Journal 3 and The book of Bill. I just hope Alex remains involved in all of it

In a recent interview for The Book of Bill, Alex has stated that he would be willing to make a Gravity Falls movie. He has a few ideas in his head of what that would be about. He also wants to make a real Gravity Falls game that is really in-depth to the lore and includes new canon that has been in the periphery of the series.

I'm sure there's more Gravity Falls content on the horizon. It's one of the best shows Disney has produced and Hirsh has expressed some level of interest in continuing the story

If it's a kid show I hope it's more of a spinoff rather than a sequel. Best case scenerio they do what adverture time did and air on a streaming platform (or adult swim). I think it's probably too late for a 'season 3', it's likely the new show will be seperated from the original series, a bit like Steven Universe Future.

On the note of the origins of the Avatar and spirit bending, I personally think it would've been interesting if Wan exclusively could spirit bend, which in turn allowed for reincarnation (maybe when paired with Raava or something?). The other elements would be added to the Avatar's bending simply by nature of the next forms being able to bend that element and keeping it into future reincarnations. With no Spirit Nation or alike around, it'd make sense for it to be lost to the annals of time and require someone more spiritually versed, like Aang, to reawaken the style within themself.

I really like your idea! The main thing I wanted to say for that part is that spirit bending should've been better incorporated in the story and that we should've gotten the origin of the Avatar in the original run but making Wan a spirit bender is a great concept

I don't think the fan base had high expectations for wano. I think Oda didn't deliver on what was seemingly promised from it. I'd like to think he learned from that mistake but he messed up again with Franky on Egghead. 3rd time's the charm of whatever they say 😂

I think Franky have haki, ever since Egghead. In the latest chapter Luffy said you guys are using haki? when Bonney, Franky and Sanji went all out at one of the elder with Luffy as the punching bad and maybe Luffy did not specify that everyone used haki, he could be generalizing here since he did not see their attacks but it could also be a vague confirmation from Oda that Franky indeed have haki. Oda might give more focus to Franky soon with him using haki. Tho I agree that it was so little focus on Franky in Egghead when it was litterly the perfect arc for him to shine.

I noticed that line and hope that it means something but I have my doubts since he hasn't gotten any focus. Also we didn't see the usual haki effect on him while Bonny had it and Sanji is a confirmed haki user

@@CrownedSphiinx I agree, that is why I said vague. I do hope Franky get's another scene with only him and him using haki confirmed. Franky is such a underrated Strawhat and a real chad! He by all means should get his cool haki moment.

UM actually the rumble ball usage an dmonster point cant be some forced awakening since they only enhance aspect of his deer abilities which is his original non devil fruit form.🤓

As much as I love this "Um... Actually", that's not true. It modifies is lineage factor, specifically the 3 stages of the zoan transformations to give him new forms pre-time skip (horn point, jumping point, arm point) and the excessive use of them would cause him to go berserk (monster point), but he becomes able to use the other points without the drugs during the time skip through messing with his lineage factor, only needing it for monster point but all of them are modified versions of the base 3 zoan transformations🤓

I see where you're coming from but there will always be demand for higher quality shows and I'd rather good shows get continuations while the original creators are interested in telling a good story than get no good cartoons at all

I wish they would invest more in new original IPs. All of these shows have already run for such a long time, I think kids need new shows they can call their own. It kinda feels like Cartoon Network is desperately clinging to what they know works, which is probably why they won’t let teen titans go go haha. I just want new artists to have a go at starting their own era.

A while back, Craig McCracken (creator of Foster’s Home and Powerpuff Girls) went back to Cartoon Network and started working on reboots/spinoffs. The result is the Foster’s Funtime preschool show that was recently announced, and a PPG reboot that is still in development When someone asked him on Twitter WHY he chose to go back to his old projects, he straight up said that networks AREN’T INTERESTED IN ORIGINAL IPs anymore. He pitched 17 different original projects to Netflix and ALL of them were rejected. Which kinda paints a depressing picture for the landscape of media

Nah absolutely not a Reboot. Hopefully either A prequel set around Stan and Ford when they were 12 A Sequel being set in the long waiting "Next Summer" Or A Sequel set far in the future, Dipper and Mabel are grown up and had kids (Dipper most likely with Pacifica and Mabel with... idk... anyone, unlikely but perhaps Gideon finally changed for the better and actually got Mabel attention) in which their kids will go on mystery adventures, Bill did say in his last moments that he may return

"Hinata should be one of the strongest Ninja" so should´ve been Neji and Shino who have no role in Shippuden and Sakura who is tossed to the waysight again after the Sasori fight. I honestly don´t get why Kishimoto didn´t advance Hinata and Narutos relationship in the manga. He even wrote her confessing to Naruto during Pain´s invasion of Konoha yet that is an afterthought once the situation is solved. Same goes when Neji dies in the Ninja war (boy was that a let down). Naruto The Last was a boring mess that sucked imho and as you said as a casual fan you shouldn´t need to watch/read additional stuff in order to get the relationships. Bleach suffered the same fate.

Too many characters were sidelined. Unfortunately Naruto fell short when it came to it's side cast. Naruto and Hinata should've been built up to. Not all thrown in an epilogue movie

Honestly Hinata becoming a housewife didnt bother me because it made sense given what we know of her character. Just bevause she theoretically would have good fighting abilities doesn't mean she has an interest in being a fighter. Sakura really should have gotten over Sasuke and found someone that she was attracted to that also treated her well. I feel that Kishimoto didn't understand that a longterm romantic relationship needs to be both a romantic relationship and a deep friendship. This makes the romantic relationships in Naruto even sadder because the mangaka can right the type of friendships that lend themselves to romance so well hence the sasunaru shippers. Another issue that Kishimoto had was thinking that fangirling lent itself to actual romances, both asakura and Hinata fangirl over there love interests, which is already abnormal because girls dont typically fangirl over their classmates.

Hinata's personality not really being one of someone who likes doing "ninja" work is why it's a pretty minor gripe. I just wish we saw more of her as a combatant after getting Hamura's chakra

I believe it's a problem within some shonen mangaka that they don't write romance very well. IIRC, some have even admitted that they don't know how to or can't. Opinion: the only pair which I 'could' possibly say was written and shown "well" would be Shikamaru and Temari. I could go on an entire rant, but I won't here.

Yeah Naruto's and Hinata's relationship completely died after the movie. In Boruto it doesn't even looks like he cares about her. I've watched the movie multiple times just for the great romance and fight scenes.
