While you have a fair point about Cade's paint finishing, I think some of the reason for the numbers is due to him attempting more shots than he'd otherwise want to in an attempt to reduce the pressure on his teammate by giving them the ball in anything less than a clear open look. Also if you see the amount of Duren screens featured in this video, that's what makes me think the Pistons aren't going to be as willing to move off of him as some fans seem to want this offseason (due to his defensive lapses).

They'll clean up the TOVs and set counters in place for possible counters the mavs may do (setting multiple ball screens like a ram screen, attacking d.white in the post instead of the bigs in space, etc). If Dallas wants to put KP in PnR with Washington then you just live with the guards chasing over and trying to contest. You make Luka and Kyrie take mid-range shots. It’s not like they are 60% mid-range shooters. As good as they are, they won’t make enough to catch Boston’s offense. You can’t take away everything but 1, 2 and 3 are lobs, corner threes and layups. If Boston does that then Dallas will have a tough time generating a league average offense on middies snd isolations
