We lived on the base from December 1960 to June 1963. We three kids attended St. Stephen's Catholic School in town for the three school years that we lived there. Our home was on Georgia Drive and our dad worked at the port where he would go out and catch huge cod fish in the surf. I love the snow and thought we were living in a wonderland

How about that...Went to school with Gary Tilley, plucked a few strings with "Goose" Goosney, and Dave Young was a friend to all. I didn't know he played keyboard. (I left St. John's when I was 18, so that likely explains that) ☺ Are the guys still around? Lost an old buddy not too long ago when Wally Cobb passed away. (Learned my first chords from him). The Lincolns were a great band. My favorite at the time was The Ravens. St. John's produced a lot of excellent bands.

Proper t'ing. Wild, how much it's changed, and yet when you know exactly where some of these pics were taken it's crazy how little it's changed. And I'm some sure some of these buildings are still standing today b'y. ❤

Too bad you had the likes of Tom Doyle playing with you, would have sounds much better. Surprised Tom you didn't have your ugly wife Pat singing with you
