Besides this there was another London concert that was screened on television in some countries. Some of the footage was used in the music video of Recipe of Love. There is some footage of it on youtube about 15 minutes worth. The set list is very different from this and the Dallas concerts. In the Dallas concert he wears the reddish jacket and in the London one he wears a more typical tux like arrangement. In the London concert he sings the beautiful song Drifting. It is from a different concert than when this played on radio. I recorded it when I was about 20 (34 years ago) from a World channel SBS and still have never seen it anywhere else.

Big band music is on the rise again. Huge viewing figures on KZfaq for the young musicians from Saint Andreu in Barcelona, German TV promoting the great Thilo Wolf Big band. There's hope for melodic music and multi instrumentation yet.

Heartfelt thanks for this- you've saved me a lot of time- I've got a tape recording of this that's the only one of my old tapes not to have survived the years in my parents' attic (and the only one I really wanted), so it was a revelation to find it and takes me back. Thanks!

This is a great big band, great arrangements and one hell of a ballad singer, they deserved much more popular success, but alas the tyranny of 'playlists' put the lid ont. that.

Blimey. just stumbled across this. I recorded the concert on the radio back in 91 and then years later edited it down to MP3 tracks that i have listened too and shared with friends. I never knew all the track names that were played so you filled in the blanks. I uploaded my tracks to the RadioCircle website audio files collection last year because they didn't have it. If someone has the full concert as an MP3 file would love it. I edited out the chat during the recording and when i did transfer to MP3 and lost the old C120 tape and the original MP3 files. I was worried i would run out of space on the tape. It was played on a Wednesday evening on the 22nd of May. Happy to share my version too if someone thinks their copy could be better. Thanks for doing it!!

Can't believe I've found this! My friend Helen and I were the ones who shouted out "Harry, I love you!" at the appropriate moment during "All I need is the girl" and he said "I sent them all that money to say that and they sat them back there!" What memories 30+ years later! Thank you!

Hi Of course I am writing asking and hoping you might consider sending me a copy Would it email as an mp3 file? I am happy to pay of course for all costs plus time taken to do this for me. However, I never like to make assumptions that someone should do me favours, so I would respect you if you'd rather not or are too busy. I have some Harry Connick items including a book that I would happily exchange if you were interested. I think I have other stuff too I can dig for and get back to you. I know I have an Australian tour book from circa Oh My Nola and possibly some rare audio. Whatever you decide have a wonderful week. As another Harry fan I respect your excellent taste in music.
