What is the differences between Qi irons and Sim MAX irons except year of release ? Can I feel it or this is more marketing to buy new set every year ?

Would you still go with the K grind for compacted sand bunkers like at a public course?
@Truespecgolf
@Truespecgolf Күн бұрын
It would depend on how steep you are with your angle of attack and how effectively you can use bounce. You can still hit quality sand shots with a full sole and high bounce. However, you can also vary the grind and bounce in your wedge set so that you have options for different shot types, and lies.

Like the reviews a zing and yang, fast and slooooower approach would be great. I’m 60 and arthritic. Swing my 3 wood now at about 85 to 88 mph. I’m still in a tsi2 three wood as I don’t swing it fast enough to get the low spin tsr2 airborne. So would be great to see a nearly dead golfer test em….if your struggling to find the nearly dead… look no further…. I test them first u 😅.

Why the tip weight when you have a plug and play weighting system?
@Truespecgolf
@Truespecgolf 2 күн бұрын
We use a tip weight because it will not affect the spin rate produced compared to the adjustable weight in the head of the club which can affect your spin rate more drastically.

How different is the p7cb from the p7mc?
@Truespecgolf
@Truespecgolf Күн бұрын
The P7CB has more perimeter weighting and a slightly deeper CG. Most players should expect a higher ball flight and more sustained ball speeds on a miss. The CB will also be slightly larger. Meaning, that P7CB will be more forgiving compared to P7MC.

Which Iron would you recommend for a 67 yr old senior who scores between 81-90? Thanks
@Truespecgolf
@Truespecgolf Күн бұрын
That will depend on what you are looking for from your irons. Ai300 will be the most forgiving, but also have the strongest lofts and be the least workable. If you need launch and spin, the Ai200 could be a better fit. The Ti Fusion is going to have a completely different feel and slightly smaller head size than the Ai200 and Ai300. It would be best to test them side by side in a fitting before you make a decision.

Other tests have shown early wear on that black fusion finish... Considering the astronomical retail price that level of quality is wholly unacceptable... They should have done the Ai Titanium in a titanium finish..

We use 3M DP810 epoxy for all of our clubs, and the shafting beads do help to create a stronger bond.

Very curious how the Ai200 compares to the Apex Pro '24
@Truespecgolf
@Truespecgolf 14 күн бұрын
Apex Pro '24 will be more player-oriented with weaker lofts and a smaller overall footprint. The new Apex Ai200 are a player's distance iron with a premium on ball speed and forgiveness.

GT2 should be slightly higher spin (within a couple of 100 rpms) but is more consistent on down range dispersion compared to the TSr3.

What are the dots on the club face for?
@Truespecgolf
@Truespecgolf 14 күн бұрын
It’s a fiducial, so it’s a reflective sticker that helps the camera based launch monitor capture club data, such as club speed, club path, face angle at impact, and where you strike the ball on the face.
