Thank you for this video. Why not to put irrigation pipes right on the soil? LIke it alwas done for vegetables. Last fall I established my own private vineyard (700 vines) and now I thinking about the best and not expensive way of irrigation because of real dry local summers.

Zappoid1, Putting the irrigation tubing on the ground gets in the way of cultural tasks such as weed removal. Its best for our operation to the tubing suspended above the soil.

i love this. Daikon radish is also the best keto vegetable. low carb. Has anyone got a good way to cook it? I would love to boil it like potato, but it can be very crucifera tasting. I grate mine with egg and cheese and seasoning, and fry like hash browns. Make coleslaw.

Nice video. Thank you. How come you dont leave a renewal spur on the first example?

We don’t leave a renewal spur on the cane pruning. We do leave a spur when it’s cane with renewal spur pruning. Every winemakers has their preference on pruning.

My nebbiolo went through budbreak a week ago here on the central coast, this year is going to be wicked early because I know for a fact the rest will wake up in 2-4 weeks which is earlier than average.

I love old vine zinfandel, I have been making wine from a 46 year old zinfandel vineyard for 5 years in a row. I would love to access fruit this old for our winery. Its tough to get a contract for old vine fruit.
