How did you come up scaled min 6242 and scaled max 31208 ?
@Bin956 ай бұрын
The programmer comes up with the range based on sensor specs and application. The sensor documentation is the place to start, then deviate if needed by the application. As long as you have the whole scale/bandwidth of the sensor or greater, the programmer sets the trip points according to the application, independent of the sensor scale.

Is there an option for individual payment for simutech troubleshooting simulation software??
@Bin9510 ай бұрын
No, they got bought out by a conglomerate that owns TPC, and quit selling to individuals. Only companies and school. We still sell our own brands of troubleshooting simulation software; Koldwater and TroubleX to the individual. (As well as schools and companies.)

This is really great, I appreciate all of the truly fantastic teaching simulators which are available for the aspiring engineer on BIN95, a bit expensive though! If you are just curious and want to learn more about these amazing professions without doing it for the sake of school or a real job then it is somewhat off-putting to pay hundreds of dollars for the bundles. To be fair though, the educational material is unrivaled in quality, so it is worth every penny.
@Bin95 Жыл бұрын
Yea, the individual can click on individual course titles and purchase student license for under $200. Those who do not need a course for school or work typically just browse Google for bits and pieces. Letting their interest guide them. Like reading some of our hundreds of articles, free online simulator, etc. All at https:bin95.com (This particular highly functional complex simulator bundle shown in this video is only $189 for both which is a steel for the capabilities them two deliver. We also have several other simulators.)

how can I print out a copy of your video
@Bin95 Жыл бұрын
At the URL in comment you can print out the webpage that describes it. If you purchased site license (multiple students) within the course software is a printable PDF Lab Manual which also incudes screenshots of the circuits. Here is the URL again bin95.com/vocational-training/electrical/electrical-troubleshooting-plc-troubleshooting.htm You can also contact us at the site above with further inquiries. Thanks

Why no comments is it junk or something
@Bin95 Жыл бұрын
Actually it is very elaborate software. Lack of comments on a KZfaq video is not an indication of anything. As once someone buys/tries the software, they never find the KZfaq video and come back to it to comment. They have better things to do, like using the new software they purchased. I hope this explains it to you. (There are reviews on the software purchase page, if that is what you are looking for.)

pls can we perform PID simulation in RS logix500 without actual real input and output. tried it actually don't know if am doing something wrong the PID isn't giving me any output pls I need clear explanation thanks
@Bin95 Жыл бұрын
You will need to write some logic to simulate a varying analog input if you are not going to use a real input signal. Then your PID will output.

Hi there I'm an electrical apprentice. Would there be any way to get a student licence for this software? Not learning a lot at work as I'm basically just building cable tray and running cables. It would be awesome to actually learn something so I don't kill myself when I become qualified in a few years.

You can purchase the student license of certificate course in download format for $89 at bin95.com/vocational-training/electrical/electrical-troubleshooting-plc-troubleshooting.htm

Hello I want to train on these online course
@Bin952 жыл бұрын
You just follow the link in the comment area like it instructs. See bin95.com/vocational-training/plc-training/scada/rsview32-hmi.htm Note this level if interactivity, simulations and all; are best delivered via software. So it is not an online course, it is certificate course software. You download course, install on any windows system and take the course, earn and print your certificate. At you own pace, never expires. That way you always have the course and there are no monthly online fees like you have with typical online courses. You even have access to the course when your internet goes down.

Find out the input sequences to start the machine to run in Auto, this can only be done while the machine is working correctly, Once the cycle has finished, find out which inputs are on or lit before pushing the start sequence pushbutton , unfortunately many do not heed this helpful tip , they think why should they bother the machine does not have an electrical problem . remember you will be the last Engineer on the job , the mechanical Engineers will be having a tea break ,while you are scratching you head .

If you learn how to read ladder logic and use the PLC to troubleshoot, you do not need to know the pattern of i/o led's. The ladder logic will always answer what condition should be on or off in normal operations and idle state, and takes about 4 minutes to do so. The PLC is a powerful troubleshooting tool.

How did you come up with the range of 3277 to 16384 ? Is that always the same or depends on the A/D input card? What would be the best way to understand what range has to be used for different cards and transmitters. Thank you
@Bin952 жыл бұрын
It is a computer numbering standard and standard among all A/D. As the max value 32767 is arrived at by being the maximum number that can be stored in a 16 bit integer block of data. (In computers its always been base 16 ... 32, 64, etc., later 32 bit word sizes (base 32) become more commonly used, but it is the same 16 bit max. ) The limits set in video (3277-16384) where just decided by programmer for specific application in the example. You may have a 40ma sensor that manual indicates uses max 32767 to -32768 but the programmer may chose to only use a smaller range. (They just cant use a larger one than device manual indicates. Most will be that 'magic' number 32767.
@renaco11452 жыл бұрын
@@Bin95 Thank you for the reply. But shouldn't be a common rule to determine what range has to be selected and why? On other words, what's the benefits of shortening the range? What if we use the whole range -32768 to 32768?
