I am currently taking level one class. I studied French in high school and college, but haven’t touched it in years. I’ve done 2+ years of self study and level one is perfect for filling in my gaps! I am looking forward to level 2!

I’m so happy you’re pleased with Level 1! We aren’t just skimming over the grammar, are we?!? It’s truly a course to master that level. Great news that you’re planning to continue with Level 2. It’s going to be so good, with 25 new grammar topics to master 🤩

Definitely not skimming! It answers so many questions I’ve had about basic as well as nuanced grammar that I did not understand.

Just what I've been looking for. Verbs in action in sentences not just boring verb tables. Love your lessons!

I just would like to say that my university professor linked one of your videos to our online course content to watch. I find your style of teaching excellent. I am English and have learned 4 foreign languages. I am refreshing my French and you explain things very well and also at an understandable tempo. I just watched your 'direct object prounoun' video from 9 years ago and it really helped. I will now check out your other content. Thanks. Also being smiley and friendly helps. 🙂

Thanks so much for your comment! It's nice to receive feedback like this. Interestingly, many people have written to tell me they've discovered my lessons through courses in which their professors have linked my videos. If you're refreshing your French, you sound like an excellent candidate for one of my masterclasses. A new class will be starting in August! Let me know if you're ever looking for a lesson on a particular topic. There's a good chance I've made a video about it :-)

Hello! There's something in French Grammar that I think it doesn't make any sense. When you talk about lobby, you say "hall". "Hall" starts with a silent H. However, why we say "le hall" instead of "l'hall", even though the "hall" starts with a vowel sound. Because every vowel sounds has article, "l'". but for "hall", it's "le"? Could you please explain the reason? Merci
