I finally finished all of her books. I appreciate what you have to say about her. Here is my own ranking of all her books: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNZlrJqpm9KYgqc.html

One twist, yes I saw coming, the other I screamed and scared my poor pup lol If you haven't already, I'd recommend reading No Exit by Taylor Adams. It gave me similar vibes in terms of the "locked room" setting.

We lov'em & feed'em & they repay us by digging in every bit of bare earth, ground or plant pot, they can find 😂 Pebbles round the larger plants helps & can look quite nice. I've never seen a ripe strawberry in the last 2 years - pinched whilst still green. Sunflower heads ripped off as soon as they set seed - at least they leave the dwarf ones alone as they are sterile. I've recently drawn the line at my baby carrots being dug up - think I need to create some metal mesh cages for protection, can't see butterfly netting being a sufficient deterrent for the antics of these determined little critters !

I just finished this book tonight and cried for the entirety of the last three chapters. Genuinely an amazing story, and though the ending was sad it was also really really good

M at page 118 but hardly have few take aways like sleep is imp and we have deep sleep in early sleep hours which helps with memory too. Period. M sorry I can’t go ahead , it too repetitive and lot of scientific evidences which sometimes is overwhelming

I am glad I gave up on reading this book after completing almost half of it as nothing was happening in the story. Your video saved me from wasting more time.

I just finished reading this book and I went on KZfaq to look up reviews to see if anyone else hated it as much as I did and I had to skip through like 7 videos to find yours. Thank God I’m not the only who couldn’t stand it. It made me queasy and unwell.

I read this book. I gotta say blunt and wet is up there to her discription. My favorite character is by far Lenora. She is a piece of work but by far the most interesting. I’d give it a 6. it tends to get dragged out at some points

This is the first review of yours I have watched and I must said I am impressed. I have read the first two in the series and have the third in hardback and audio. I loved them so much I recommended them to my mum, who is now a big fan. Anyway great review, you basically said everything I thought. Will definitely try Casual Vacancy, thanks.

Two years after reading this it's still one of the biggest let downs I've read. But at least, this is now the book that I use as a filter on who to follow and whose book recommendations I can trust. If you liked the setup of normal people but found it infuriating that it didn't go anywhere and there was no real character development, I can very highly recommend "holding her breath". It has a similar vibe but overall much more interesting story points and actual character growth.
