At first he simply went by just 'Silk' with only one K until he got sued by the R&B group "Silk" so he went and added an extra K to his name and changed it 'Silkk'. Silkk had a vision to shock the world with his rapping skills, so he named his debut solo album "The Shocker" as he was being adressed to by his fans. So after the album "The Shocker" he adopted the title to his name 'Silkk' and went full-fledge with 'Silkk The Shocker '
