This just made me happy. I still miss him endlessly every single day, but I'm now at the stage where I can watch old footage and smile before anything else. That doesn't mean I love him any less, or his loss doesn't still pain me, but he was just so wonderful and absolutely bursting with charisma, that all I really feel when I see him now is just sheer joy. ❤❤

He isn't very handsome??!!?? People are constantly describing him as "handsome" or "gorgeous." He was so beautiful. He was insanely charming and charismatic. It is hard NOT to love Alan. Sorry, I just do not understand that comment.

Thank you so much for this, I cried today thinking about how he has been gone 5 and a half years now. I loved his movies but I never got to see him perform live. I feel like I missed out on something special!

I feel exactly the same way. It's only been this past month that I've taken the time to watch Alan in other stuff besides Harry Potter, and to learn about him and his other talents. I wish I could go back in time and love him while he was still alive, but at the same time, that would just mean wishing for more heartache, and I doubt Alan would've wanted us to be sad. /*
