Great video, very thorough watched it about three times before I attempted to do the same thing only I swapped from Limited Grill to the Platinum Grill. Wish we could post pics to the comments section that would be cool 😊

You keep calling screws bolts. You DO know the difference, don’t you?

I am wondering if the Blades you installed are "Vacuuming up the leaves" Before they can be cut. I have a bagger on my Troybilt gas rider. I never changed the blades just stock. And it cuts up the leaves. Yours looks whole.

Looks like Tedious project 4 to 5 hours? And for what ? Not an improvement at all just a different look. Lets be honest Toyota dropped the ball completely on the front Grille, nothing will help it. All versions have same nasty look! I have a 2023 TRD in white and hate the grille.What I hate even more is the interior which is cheap plastic all over. The door locks are even in thin cheap plastic and you can hear it click! The entire center console is cheap, i mean beyond cheap thin plastic. Further a massive design flaw exists where seat cracks by controls. Toyota claims this is abuse, meanwhile everyone i know has them broken . Mine broke 2x already in one year and I have never ever had one break ever before in any car or truck

Be careful of the louver mounting bolts. The nuts are not fixed to the frame, just loosely captive in the plastic (square nut in a square recess). Too much torque and the bolt spins, quickly stripping the soft plastic frame, and suddenly you can't remove that bolt anymore. Had to grip the nut through the plastic with a vise grips to get the bolt free.

The 4 pins are for power and signal. The same with a 3 pin where ground is common for power and signal.It has nothing to do with phases.

Would have went with piano black or some type of gloss on everything including the grille. Matte black looks unfinished especially with the platinum side badging and tailgate badge.

What I just witnessed contradicts the reason we do breadboard ends. Glueing the entire edge does not allow the freedom for wood movement. If you are doing breadboard ends with a domino, you would glue the domino in the center on both ends, and the other domino's would only be glued on the panel side. You would not glue the entire edge of the panel. You would also do pins through the remaining domino's like you would any tenon on a breadboard. This method demonstrated I'm the video will probably be fine inside, but it would have problems in an area where moisture levels constantly change.

I can't. Believe that you have an illegal discharge inside your garage.Hate to burst your bubble, but by law.You cannot have that discharging into your garage especially if it's a natural gas dryer.

Dude, it had no choice but to work cause air going in one end of the pipe has only one other place to go and that is the other end unless the "other end" is seriously blocked.
@audistik1199Ай бұрын
Been doing this for years. But I don’t move the dryer. It’s easier to fashion a duct tape inlet into the dryer dust collector.
@TomsBackyardWorkshopАй бұрын
It didnt work. You only dislodged the loose lint there is still a lot trapped in there.
@dukearmstrong156Ай бұрын
I can't believe the designers put the discharge in the garage.
@WintersgambitАй бұрын
That was the contractor. Even if the designer proposed that a competent contractor would'nt have installed it
@johnDingoFoxVelocityАй бұрын
No doubt that's a code violation. Imagine if it was a gas dryer now. You're basically putting carbon monoxide back inside your house. Enjoy sleeping to night. maybe you're last.
@Glum1964Ай бұрын
I worked for a trapping service in the 90’.s. A common call was birds nesting in dryer vents. After pulling the nestin out with a hooked pole, we’d do this with leaf blowers. It’s not new, so I don’t understand the guy who uses a sewer cleaner to clean them. You’ll never get them 100% clean. A leaf blower gets 98%, I’d guess. So why go to all the effort of running a sewer snake through for 99%. Too much effort for too little gain. This guy in the video has the right idea.
@grenwodirishwicaАй бұрын
A leaf blower would not get 98% of it cleaned. It only moved the loose debris in the line. Not much came out at all. The reason you use the "sewer cleaner" is because air can move THROUGH the lint and pass right through a clog unabated.
@gregs2143Ай бұрын
Loose stuff coming out doesn't mean it worked. It can still be 90% clogged.. but you didn't show it really wotked. I wonder, why.

They need an in-chute EGO battery powered blade fan (like on leaf vacuumes that you pull behind your tractor) to increase suction down the chute and get all the grass/leaves into the bags. Mine clogs CONSTANTLY even with relatively dry Zorsia grass in my yard. The chute simply doesnt have enough air speed or volume to lift what most people are mowing.
