my husband 46 has just been diagnosed with a large and aggressive glioblastoma and has had his operation, which went as well as it could, they used the new dye that makes the cancer cells glow pink and the surgeon said it made a huge difference. We are waiting on chemo and Radiotherapy. 4 weeks ago, he was working as a senior nurse in an ITU, now he can barely make himself a cup of tea. I have to admit, I am terrified, we should have had so much longer together. We are renewing our vows in 2 weeks and I just hope that will be possible, and he'll still be here. They said without the operation he had 2 weeks at the most, to live, so it has given us extra time, but we don't know if that's extra days, weeks, or months at this point

Some neuro surgeons have access to gamma tiles. The tile is placed in the cavity left by the resection (removal of the tumor). Gamma tiles appear to have worked at the site for my spouse 6 months out. The tiles were used for Meningiomas.

Don’t believe brain surgery is a good idea for cancer It often diminish the quality of life and with all the chemo and radiotherapy it’s torture for patient and the family around. The best would take it slow, change a diet for a more alkaline one and maybe chemo or radio but from experience seeing my sister battling this awful disease: surgery + chemo + radiotherapy is torture

Dr. Sanai saved my life, comforted my family and gave us true hope to continue on with an excellent treatment plan. I worked in healthcare for 43 before retiring. I’ve always been enthralled by the development of medical science over the years. Seeing this team work was an absolute privilege. I lived in the Boston area for 20 years and met some world renowned clinicians but none were like Dr. Sanai and his team.

This has to be one of the worst cancers of them all. I mean, they all suck, but this one especially. It's completely relentless. With so many other cancers there are glimmers of hope. There are testaments of people beating, or living for many years with some Stage IV cancers, but with this one it is literally all just doom - most not living much longer than 1-2 years after diagnosis. There are very few people on this Earth that truly deserve this cruel disease. So unfair. I hope one day there is a breakthrough in medical research of glioblastoma, so that future patients can live longer, and hopefully even one day be cured. RIP Ryan - you gave it your best.

I am so sorry to anyone affected. My daughter's grandmother passed away several years ago from this nasty disease. She had one brain surgery but a short time later it was back.

My grandmother died from Glioblastoma. She died in exact 2 weeks after the detection. Very hard for me to see her die everyday day a little bit more as her functions reduced gradually but surely. She was also in a vegetative state for 10 days before she took her final breath.

Is GBM curable??? please answer
@hmgrraarrpffrzz97633 ай бұрын
I'm not a doctor, but as far as I know GBM is only very rarely cured. Only 1-3% of those diagnosed with GBM live longer than 5 years after diagnosis.

Listening to you people "treating cancer" in any way shape or form makes me physically ill. Using methods that are absolutely useless when Rife and Tesla were bursting tumor cells with frequency. ENTIRE medical care needs to be taken out. It is an IMMEDIATE conflict of interest when, if you make someone TOTALLY well, you have NO MORE JOBS!!!

Dear Saviours, With a heavy heart, I reach out to you for assistance. Recently, my father, a beacon of kindness and love, was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma, a fast-spreading and aggressive form of cancer. Just two weeks ago, my father experienced severe coughing and headaches. With only my mother and father at home in India while I work in Ireland, I urged them to seek medical attention at a reputable hospital. Although I wish I could be by their side, the financial constraints and responsibilities tied to my job make it impossible for me to leave. As an only son, the weight of this situation rests heavily on my shoulders. As his beloved son, I'm overwhelmed by emotions confusion, fear, and deep sadness. However, I refuse to lose hope. Witnessing the strength and determination in my father's eyes, I am resolved to stand beside him in this fight. But I cannot face this challenge alone. The financial burden of medical treatments, medications, and care is staggering, and it's taking a toll on our family. This is why I humbly ask for your support. Every contribution, regardless of size, will make a significant impact. I would be grateful. Please, if you are able, consider making a donation to assist us during this challenging time. Your kindness and generosity will not only alleviate our financial strain but also provide us with renewed hope for the future. Thank you from the depths of my heart for your love, support, and compassion. With deepest gratitude, Harry gofund.me/8328d0ef
