Trying to find my way into the loop. I’ve already plus 1ed on my guys last 3-4 free weeks & wanna figure out how to get into it deliberately. Usually what happens is that it’s a random call after a hotel stay, or a friend who owns a timeshare gifting us use of a week/some points. How does one seek out & find the free weeks?

Once you sign up in your own name for a timeshare presentation they will start calling you relentlessly. You need to tell them you make over $60k a year and that you are married or living with a partner. You don’t have to be but you should tell them that. They want couples not single people. But be careful, you have to have a plan for these presentations or they will wear you down and the next thing you know you are walking out with a bill of $50k over the next 15 years. Go In knowing you will never say yes no matter what they promise you, but you have to pretend to be interested so they will give you the gifts. We like to make up a slightly ridiculous story like we just bought a house so we’re broke or I just found out I’m pregnant so we have to save for baby or my beloved dog just died so I’m in grief and I can’t possibly make such an important decision, or my boat just capsized yesterday, etc as a reason why we can’t sign up for whatever it is they are selling but we tell them, maybe if it were a different situation, unfortunately blah blah blah just happened. Call me next year though. If you stick to the script you will get more offers than you can possibly use. Someone called me three times today trying to get me to go on a cruise. Last week they wanted me to stay at a Hilton in Florida. 🤷♀️
