Should have dipped the donut in the icing while it was still over heat. Also, heat the icing in a double boiler setup.

The BCB kits are good, cheap, but are copies. Sometimes the screw threads are a bit jagged, they can be trimmed with a knife or heated metal. Once done they dont leak. Real bottles made by Avon, red seal in lid, have a manufacture date under the NSN.

Great video! I have this set from Stanley and just received the pathfinder pan today and Stanley is way more superior than pathfinder. Stanley pan has a way thicker bottom than the pathfinder. No lid for the Stanley! But I would have Stanley and some foil for a lid than a pathfinder.

Bcb started in 1800s for uk military basex in wales. You have a crusader mk1 they go up to mk5. All little different mk2 has a deeper cooker. Suggest it date from 1980s. Cant use spririt burner with mk 1 you need mk2. Plastic bottle is bullet proof solid but leak if new. They settle down in time dont over tighten them, if persits change washer or put some vasselene on washer both sides. Most ditch plasti cup and just use it out of bottle its about 1 litre capacity, some have plastic cover, which melts if put in fire. They also do a folding stove too. Hope it helps most bottles ars plastic thesedays, j prefer stainless steel as it can be put into a fire. Hope it helps

Thank you!!! Folks like you deserve to enjoy the natural world in one of the most intimate ways possible. Total immersion through camping! I am a little envious to be honest. There are so many great and small wonders that await you! Enjoy yourself to the hilt! And always be safe and let someone close know where you are camping and for how long. Take care my good friend!

Million years ago Starbucks had a similar mug. I have 2 of them then found one on side of road with a broken handle no lid. Still have them. Bought the Stanley & like it as much, even more in the Stanley Green. Nice video.

I just saw a lady on here that put in a round food container at the bottom and a foil packet of tortillas (pre cooked) at the top. I am guessing some type of soft taco lunch. Its genius

I was looking for the largest food jar possible. I homeschool (4 kids) and we picnic a lot. Almost daily! My kids prefer hot lunches as opposed to cold lunches. Soups, spaghetti, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, even stews are our go to’s for our picnics. This crock seems too silly for its size but seriously thinking about buying it!

Thank you for the history of Alfredo sauce. Most of our Italian American dishes were created by our immigrant great grandparents or grandparents because they simply could not find the ingredients to make the foods they were accustomed to when they came to America. The butter sauce was more than likely a rendition of the Aglio e Olio dish most Italian Americans grew up eating. Which is one of my favorites. Very excited to see you create this Alfredo using a canteen! Thank you, your videos are always filled with great content and recipes for the canteen cooking enthusiasts!

Thanks for opening my eyes to electrical tape. I been thinking about making a hobo reel out of a 2" x5"pill bottle!. I go to a lab every month for a good donation😶. I ask for the tourniquet every time because they throw it away anyway. I only been refused1 time " oh no!! Ican't give it to you because you might shoot up". Right big dummie 🙄!!😵 big dummie I dont do drugs.I make bean flip for grand son and they are handy in the kitchen for removing tight jar lids and it will improve the grip On a pill bottle.

I'm in. I don't own any Stanley products yet but have been seeing alot of food jar review/comparison videos and most say that the Stanley food jars are the best. I can see how this product could help alot of people keep the cost of their lunches down by not having to purchase food from restaurants or food trucks or DoorDash, etc. I would love to win this food jar. Thanks for offering it to your viewers.

Cheap poly tarps fabric is light weight, mighty strong and durable in its own. Tearing always happens at the stress point between tarp and mallet. Easy piecy solution is to evenly put in more mallet points and make sure to use them with evenly distributed rope tensions. Leaving ropes able to loop freely to distribute all over automatically, can make that tarp last for many years. I found flexy rubber ropes not being much good as they degrade fast when put at tension over time, plus they do not slide well. Adding a few strategically placed weights instead, then works better (diagonal lines to ground spikes are perfect for gravity spots). Windshield wiper fluid jugs are my favorite. Free as garbage at any gasoline station, lightweight when empty, very compactible for storage/transport, packs just the right weight with up to 1gal/4-5 liter worth of water and flexi enough to survive water repeatedly freezing. Boat shop mooring departments has some nice stainless steel rings usually in sizes of 30-40 mm ring diameter/5-6mm material diameter, that gives nice rope sliding points. Rope to rope does not slide well and wears fast. Any style rounded and smooth material steel/stainless carabiners/shackles, will also do just fine. Learn some basic rope and pulley principles, everydays aero dynamics and go creative.
