I love salted muse but it does not last. I totally hated it at first but the dry down on me is great - reminds me of the beach where I grew up. For those of you who have it, how long is the wear time on this for you? I wish it was a stronger scent. I like how this leans as a baby step into more niche fragrance but more a skin scent, if I could just get the scent to “stick”! Too expensive for the amount do sprays I need to do right now.

Salted Muse is my new favorite scent. Obsessed. Nothing else like it out there. I’m not usually into celeb fragrances. I do see why most would not like it or this line. I didn’t like the others. I love earthy, aquatic, almost masculine scents and salted muse hit the mark.

Hi Halie! I wish Skylar would have all their travel size in a sprayer instead of a roller ball. I would definitely try more from them that way. Guerlain’s Orange Soleia, Zara’s Pamplemouse Vetiver or Jo’s Rhubarb, Chance Eau Vive and Loewe’s Ella edt are the ones I’m currently enjoying. Loewe is also a brand I want to dive into!

I bought Salted Muse and LOVE it, but I agree with your review. I grew up by a beach on the West Coast and this is a nostalgic smell for me. I love that it makes me smell like I've been on a genuine, real beach walk and doesn't dodge the smell.❤

Nars powders are hell to pan lol. My Laguna bronzer was used so many times over so many years and it didn’t look any different! Same with my orgasm blush. The bronzer ended up getting hard pan constantly so I gave up and decluttered it. I’m so impressed with your progress on everything you’ve done so well! I’m a new panner but I’m a bit useless at it lol.

I felt the same about the colourpop concealer it did nothing for me. To use mine up I would mix it with a more full coverage or deeper concealer. Almost use that as a base for another concealer. To be honest I still mix my concealers and foundations lol. I am a bit of a makeup mixologist but it does help if something isn’t perfect!

I know I’m coming to this late and you may have already used them but with your eyelashes I would recommend chopping them in half or even thirds and using them as accent lashes. That’s what I do with mine for a more subtle look and also easier application. I love a half lash and those super dramatic ones would look very cool just on the outer half to give a cat eye effect ❤

I am a lover of Sol de Janeiro body mists (except for the first one (not a fan of pistachio), or the ones that smell like sunscreen). Out of these 3, I like the Karaoke Crush the best! I'm into those more fruity scents!

I am trained with quirky smell, I am well versed with niche perfumes, but for me even the most unfkabl3 notes like rose and lemon in window2soul also turns out flat here. Mind you I live in Indonesia so I cannot try at the store and must blind buy. The price is not justified.

Sol de Janeiro body mists are going to be on repeat here too! I wanna try to make a dent in my older bottles this month. La vie est belle L’Éclat and Soleil, Hibiscus Palm by Aerin and Bronze Goddess by Estée Lauder. Nights are cool right now but days are warm so it’s time to get some use of my summer scents in the day.

The oil part is glycerine, olive oil, sweet almond oil; nothing expensive, and it’s a standard size bottle for $100, which is more than most celebrity perfumes. Buy some perfume and put on some body oil. I can’t even imagine it being overly moisturizing unless you spray a massive amount on. Overpriced in my opinion, which obviously is not a problem for our billion-heiress Bella luxuriantly dousing herself in this under the sun on a yacht in Ibiza. Also, you absolutely cannot spray this on most clothing.

This is a great, honest review! I feel like anything that uses people's health awareness/concerns in order to make a sale just rubs me the wrong way lately. It makes me more skeptical than excited to buy, especially when there are so many alcohol-based things that we do use on a day-to-day basis... but like you said, this whether this is better for you or not is a conversation for the scientists' opinions to take priority. Also not into smelling like pickles :) thanks again for the review!!!

can i just say, as someone who loves a strange perfume i also absolutely hated the Salted muse too. Smelled liked jarred olives on a dirty beach to me. That was the only one i could get my nose on but thank you this was super helpful.

I heard the green one is so light that you can smell it. Everyone keeps saying 62 and the summer one are almost identical but with a tang. It’s crazy how everyone’s nose is so different

Hi Halie! I’m passing on all of these, none caught my attention enough unfortunately… Too many offerings and I have decided to give more attention to my current collection. I recently bought Pear Gelato, Loewe Solo Ella edt and MAC Turquatic and I think I’ll be all set for summer. The only thing I’m on the fence are the Sol de Janeiro new body sprays… Might try before buying though. 😉

Update: Springtime in Paris arrived and it’s very soft, pretty, generic, guest room friendly 😊 Probably will not repurchase but I’ll burn it and enjoy it!
