I always tear up when I see footage of this season, especially the last race. My dad used to watch F1 since the early 90s, a big Jos Verstappen fan and when Max came in to F1, all he wanted was to see Max become the world champion. Sadly he passed away in 2020 and never saw a Verstappen become world champion. This is a awesome season, one we will likely not see anytime soon. Just glad we've been here to see it.🙏

If Mercedes actually brought consistent upgrades in the first half of the season instead of thinking they’d have it somewhat easy like the previous season, maybe it could’ve been different. They were too distracted by the future of 2022 and then look where they have ended up, love them but hate them lol.

Not really, Mercedes in 2021 have found themselves in the similar situation Red Bull is right now: suddenly the competition is right up there and they don’t know where to go with the car, so they start throwing upgrades on as soon as possible hoping they regain the form. The only difference is Red Bull this year had the first few races before the rest caught up so they made the gap in the championship before falling off, while Mercedes in 2021 struggled from the very beginning.

It was robbed, honestly I teamed for verstappen but Hamilton deserved that win, he dominated, that incident had to be a red flag, it had to end there the race, and Hamilton passed the pit lane exactly when the safety car started. But its past, so , good job max

Hamilton deserved that win, but not the championship so, despite the wrong person winning the race, the right person won the title It’s just a shame the best season in years ended in such weird circumstances

@@rotkiW9014 I know but since they were at the same points, hamilton deserved that win (that can had resulted into the winning of the championship) so he deserved the title. If you say Hamilton deserved that win at the last Grand Prix and he is same points as max, you are basically saying that hamilton deserved that championship

@@Doggo1231 imo they both deserved it almost equally and I was one of the ppl that would be satisfied with either of them winning, but my opinion is that Max had a lot of pure bad luck moments, when he was losing points through things that were out of his control. Lewis lost more points through the fault of his own (and Mercedes not understanding strategy in Turkey), while most of Max’s losses were out of his control (crash in Silverstone, Bottas’ bowling in Hungary, the tire giving up in Baku etc.). If we exclude bad luck on both sides, Max likely would’ve won the title by Saudi Arabia of not earlier That ofc doesn’t change they fact they’re both amazing drivers and I really hope to see them fight for the title once again
