Michelle, I enjoy your content and I was in San Miguel on a tour last year, it is a beautiful town. I'm from NY my mom Puerto Rican my Dad Mexican, as a child many years ago I spent a summer for the first time with my dad's family in Queretaro in those days you never heard of ANYONE moving to Mexico and I have fond memories of what a wonderful summer I had, my Aunts took me and my sister everywhere it was magical. Growing up in NY i identified with being Puerto Rican more than Mexican but I am embracing my heritage now and Mexico holds a special place in my heart. Casa Elm is beautiful and I send you much success in your business. I too am thinking of Mexico for retirement but maybe not full time but a few months a year. Thank you for your content and showcasing this beautiful country.

This is not the first time that Mexico has welcomed African Americans. This goes back centuries. I am extremely happy that African Americans are finding peace and happiness in my favorite country. Mexicans appreciate our love of their country. Portugal has been terrible to black folks and doesn't deserve us, if you ask me. We shouldn't reward those who oppress us.

What a lovely place you have! The feminine energy there was palpable during the tour and I hope to visit when I get to Mexico again in the fall. I also love your appreciation of Mexican art & culture - wondering if you've visited Zihuatanejo (translates to Place of Women). I spent a lot of time down there long ago, but I think the gallery filled with beautiful sculptures of goddesses & women is still there. You might enjoy it:)
