I jjst bought a super tool 300 a couple weeks ago. Looks the exactly like yours! Doesnt look like Leatherman changed anything. Its a good tool. I like the fact that its a robust multitool. I think the pliers are great. There is a small wrench you can buy to tighten your mounts! That way you dont mar up your tool. I was using my file for a purpose your not supposed to use a file for. And it snapped off. Kinda wish the file was a little thicker. My dad has had his supertool for years! His is loose also. He has had his for over 20 years and still uses it everyday at work! Leatherman makes good tools!

Nice idea! Love the scavenging of the magnets from an old purse, too. I've saved a lot of cord stops/clamps, and misc. clips from old bags and lanyards and such. But in terms of the tray, I'm thinking a layer of duct tape in the bottom might add something, too: make it easier to see the screws, perhaps, but also, quiet things even more, or you could put ridges into it and make separate sections. Just an idea. Last thing: they sell little slide-top tins that fit sideways into the altoid tin.

Well i have the same model and ive watched countless videos on setring the correct colors and all the rest of it and no matter what i do i still have a green screen now ive emailed vankyo many times and no reply so for me ive had a bad experience with this projector so its going in the bin and ile buy a much cheaper projector like i had before this 1 which has great sound and great color.

I've carried a Wave for may years on the job that has saved me thousands of steps not having to walk hundreds of feet to a tool box to get the "right" tool for a quick repair. Now that I've retired and off duty most of the time I now carry a Leatherman Skeletool CX that clips inconspicuously in my pocket and takes care of most things that I need it for.

I took my charge plus apart and cleaned it inside out with Flitz then applied some Super lube, it turned out pretty good. The opening and closing is smooth with some fine tuning. Wish I had watched this video but I learned something new so not bad ❤

Only problem with leathermen is that they don't have a 1/4" bit holder great quality tools but their bits are junk and require workarounds

Only downside is it's too nice to have at work if it got stolen I'd be upset

You used a fog machine ! You do realize that actual SMOKE has micro particulates in it that fog obviously doesn’t. So this really doesn’t help prove anything.

A bit apples to oranges compaarison. The Honeywell has a hepa filter, which is merv17+. I doubt the one on the box fan is higher than merv 11 or 12. The honeywell also circulates better throwing air upward and probably runs more efficiently with a radial fan. Still, in a pinch, a boxfan + filter is always better than nothing. I got a cheaper proairtech 9000 which includes carbon and prefilter (doesn't clog the hepa filter as quickly and can be cleaned) as well as hepa and ionizer, has sensors and can ramp up/down fan speed according to pollution. I also diy-ed a heavy duty air filter with 200W wall fan and prefilter+carbon+hepa for pulling clean air from outside in case of (wild) fires, pollen, diesel gases from heavy agri machinery etc. Better to have clean air in the first place rather than to try to clean it when the pollution is already inside.

Hrm, not sure what the fogger shows other than air flow. Dust retention in the filter, airborne residue removal, and particulate control would be more useful information for our shops I'd presume. Especially with sawdust from sanding, or paint particulates that don't immediately get vented out by the exhaust fan.

I bet it was the drop that made the blades hard to deploy. You didn't open all the tools after the drop. Why did you think hard wire cutters could cut bolts ? Using the clamp was just stupid. The tool isn't designed to be used that way. What a waste of 31 minutes.

Never buy Leatherman Wave plus, they are not the same leatherman you used to know. I have changed these twice, but still the change even have a problem. It is not neat. saw stucks refuse to get in without adjustment with my thumb force, plier don't closes if I don't close them with my finger sperately before I close the plier, Man! My brandnew leatherman plier is full of scratches already before I use them by scratching itself when it slides into the hold! This is disaster! they increased the price decreased the quality, What the hell??!

Save money, buy a gallon of food grade Mineral Oil, muti-tools, knives, firearms, even cutting boards and wooden scales and stocks, it may be all you ever need for decades. I learned this from a gun smith long ago and it works great. Saves you a lot of money and most of those other products use mineral oil as there primary ingredient. The only disadvantage, some applications need grease, but not in the multi-tool world. BTW, Mineral Oil grease is called petroleum jelly and it works great wear grease is needed. Say bye bye to all the many many snake-oil companies ripping you off by just selling you mineral oil plus coloring agents or negligibly "beneficial" additives. Sorry modern snake oils sales people, the secret is out.
