Nice video. We live i North Carolina. Back in 2019, me and my Son hiked from Windy Ridge out to Loowit Falls. About 9 miles round trip. It was a fun time. We love the PNW. Beautiful out there.

I am getting ready to close on a place in Ocean Shores. I know enough about the place to know that I like it and am looking forward to living there. This video was helpful and enjoyable.

Open sores! Don't forget your "lid tax" retiree's.

What’s this?
@151mcx13 күн бұрын
@@jameskennedy60nSoCal if you buy a lot in OS, there is a lid tax (last one was for sewer and water improvements) a tune of about 5~6K bucks per lot. A lot of people couldn't afford it and sold their lots, that was back in the day. I own a lot there and well, the plan was always to develop it, I never got around to it, and only really visited ocean shores maybe 12 times. Maybe one day I will get around to it. lol My advice install your sewer now, as it's still reasonable ... but I hear some ocean developments are charging almost 20K just for sewer alone. JOY!

The Cove is a few blocks past Avenue U. Nobody there would call it “Avenue U District,” as others have noted. The thing to watch out for is logs. Any log near the surf can be dangerous.

Just found your channel. My wife and I are actively trying to move there now to be near our kids and grandkids who live in Bend. We prefer the more rural outer areas than Bend. Hoping to find something this week to purchase. Very laid back channel you have, looking forward to more. Thank you

If you are interested in the history of the area you should visit the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco, which you managed to miss. Long Beach is hardly a secret, it’s been a tourist destination for over 100 years. The school building in Chinook is a visitor center. FYI the legal name is still the North Beach Peninsula. 🙂
