Im rewatching these many years later and i visited this place last year so its nice to see with a bit more personal experience. idk man, i’m suicidal and this kind of media helps me get rid of the urge to do that. call it pathetic all you want, but when I get those thoughts, I read fanfic of characters I relate to committing or attempting and sorta live pricarioualy through them while reading, and then the urge goes away for a little and when it’s back I just read more and they’re gone again, and with me having ADHD and my hyperfixations changing like the wind, I never run out of these to read and characters to read about. Additionally, reading how the other characters are hurt and grieve temporarily completely turns me off from the idea out of being reminded how much it would hurt my loved ones.
