Yes, if you have hemochromatosis you can also have gout in the feet esp around the toes. It's very common and well-known because of the build-up of uric acid. It is also a very painful condition too.

Needless to say, I walked away from his office feeling defeated and feeling like I should be in a mental hospital. Could be your glucose dropping too low. Do you feel shaky also. Have you started the med recently perhaps if so you are still adjusting. Get a glucose monitor at the pharmacy and check. These drugs work on glucose levels you may need to snack. You can’t mess around with those levels. I was riding my bike got that feeling felt really hot checked my glucose and it was 50 so had to eat something immediately. You need to change your mindset about not having a snack. Hope this helps.
@shelleyslife365Ай бұрын
Ciao my friend, it could very well be... I am not shaky and have been on the medication for 3 years so I think I am quite adjusted to it, but it might have something to do with glucose levels. I was told that because it caused such extreme hunger pains even when after eating it could be a thing called "Polyphagia" I am doing some research on it and it sounds exactly what I feel, but I will have to talk to my dr about this. Thank you so much for your help, comments and suggestions... I truly appreciate it. Big Hugs! 💕

Hi. I have three questions: - do you donate blood on emty stomach ( they say you can't eat fatty food because the serum is going to be lipemic) - did the blood donations efected your veins in terms of vein ruptures, thrombosis - how do you feel after donating blood?
@shelleyslife365Ай бұрын
Ciao my friend, Thanks for your visit.... I have answered your 3 questions below. 1) - No, I don't donate blood on an empty stomach. I generally have ground beef or steak and sometimes eggs for lunch before I donate. (My donations are always in the late afternoon after I eat lunch) I personally have not had any problems with high-fat foods when donating either. 2) - No, the donations haven't had any effect on my veins at all, but.... I also have hard-to-find veins meaning my veins are very deep and if the nurse does not it the vein the first try, it can sometimes cause the vein to rupture, but in general they are VERY good at hitting my veins because I tell them so they are prepared for it. 3) I feel more than wonderful after donating, more like a high, light, free, mmm maybe this question is a bit more difficult to answer but I feel much more energetic, happy and lighter.. haha.. I hope that you get my point here. I hope that I have helped you with your questions. Do you also donate blood? Do you have hemochromatosis? Thank you again for your visit, comment and support, it means so much to me. Big Hugs! 💞

Hello Shelley, great seeing you again. I am Carnivore yet, just at day 121 now. I can understand you statements on the struggle being real! I think I may be living on the Struggle Buss. My weight loss has stopped, but my body is changing, as I am getting a wee bit leaner. I suspect the extra protein is helping to repair muscles and bone and other tissues, and of course this is heavier than the fat I am losing. With that in mind I am ok with this stall for now. I believe I will need to do a few short fasts to get the weight moving downward again. Thank you for being so open and willing to discuss the position you are in. Take care.

This is exactly the plan I've been striving for. Hubs and I did carnivore years ago and felt amazing but then fell away from that. I will be starting Semaglutide in June and want to do carnivore with IF along with it to develop good habits but my doc is also poo-poo this. She says I will be way too constipated and the fat will make me sick on it. Would you please speak to this in your experience? Have you had issues with constipation or nausea (specifically linked to the diet and/or fat)?
@shelleyslife3652 ай бұрын
I have been carnivore for almost 3 years now (3 years in September) and on Oz for the same amount of time. I loved the benefits of both because Oz helped a lot with my hunger pains and Carnivore helped with all the health benefits and this combo has worked super well for me (I won't go back) but... I did hear other doctors say avoid high fat foods... but from my experience the high fat foods did not bother me at all. My doctor said to me "I do not condone your diet, but I can not tell you to change it because it is working for you and your blood work is very good" so he does not agree, but not completely disagreeing either. I LOVE him.. he is awesome! The fat did not make me sick on Oz, I did feel nauseous in the beginning, but it did not last long and then I did not hear any food noise, which was the best gift ever. As for constipation, I have had this issue long before Oz or Carnivore... I had many operations for Endometriosis and at the time (30+ years ago) my doctor told me to always use Senokot and I have... never changing that and it has helped me all along the way to be ok in that department. I hope that I have helped you in some way.... and I wish you all the best on your journey of Oz and Carnivore!! (PS - my hubby is also on Carnivore as well and loves it, but he is not on Oz) Thank you so much for your visit, comment and support, it truly means a lot! 💞
