You either have luck and buy this car from someone who made a proper maintenance and you just have to follow. Or you get a problem in your hands. What i’ve spent so far on fixing and maintenance goes beyond the value i’ve paid for the car, and it’s really unbelievable the amount of stuff that can break and keeps on breaking. If i get like 6 months straight without a breakdown, i start to think that something big bill is coming, and usually i’m not wrong😅 I love the car, but after 10 years, it’s financial curse that i don’t feel like perpetuating.

Hello, I have an audi A4 B7 1.8T, 2006 Engine BFB 485.000 km / 300.000 miles I am looking for a overboost problem for months The problem started after I put in a brand new turbo because the old one was starting to leak oil I checked N75 28ohms and wiring is OK. Now I have bypassed the N 75 by putting a tube on the turbo to the waste gate itself and then I have no overboost problem. The car feels a little bit down on power but it drives fine. Does anyone know what the problem is?

That’s entirely a personal choice. I prefer the coupe as for me the roadster is ok but if left outside in the winter can get damp inside, in rain it’s not nice, wind noise is greater with roof up, if it’s too hot you burn your arms neck and shoulders when driving haha Just my opinion though

Hello, good morning, you know a lot, thank you for helping, I have the 225 too, the other day I went to the circuit I did a couple of laps at full speed and it got a little hot, when I went to enter the pits it stopped, the warning light came out. the battery and it didn't start until it cooled down, it's like it went into safety mode and then when it cools down you can start normally. It did that to me twice on the circuit, and yesterday doing a normal route with some accelerations but the perfect temperature it stopped but this time with the red oil and battery light too, I waited 10 minutes and it started again perfectly. What could it be? ?
@TheParrottBros17 күн бұрын
Hmm thats interesting, usually the red oil light is a sign of low oil pressure, which usually is followed by a horrible engine noise. If you will getting the car really hot it could well be something with the power cables, often they get Poor resistance and can get very hot, it could be a sensor like a Crangle camshaft sensor the winner gets very hot fails which will kill your engine also, I would certainly look at getting your oil drained taking the samples and checking your strainer is not blocked before you swap with oil pressure sensor
@u.f.u.l.s202317 күн бұрын
But could the camshaft sensor be the crankshaft sensor? It stops and doesn't start again until a while passes.
