I am a native Floridian and I was born and grew up in Miami , spent 34 years in Orlando and now live in Melbourne Beach .Personally I think you can't claim to live here if you only live here half of the year .Just my opionion

I recently started my business, I do a mix of healing / coaching / leading meditations, and just figuring out how to best expand, like creating a subscription community model and making courses. Also working out how best I can deliver the most value to clients and the value and price proposition of that. Recently made a business plan and needed to find a solution to figuring out costs and expenditure. This is going to be awesome to use, thanks again :)

What about the crocodile that was found in the ocean at Melbourne Beach? You get thunderstorms throughout the summer. There are thunderstorms everyday during the summer in Daytona Beach and anywhere around Orlando.

We live in Laguna Beach, Ca. and just bought a townhome in Mel Beach for pretty much exactly the reasons you talk about, with one added reason. My mom lives in Indiatlantic. Our townhome is just across A1A from the beach, so we are excited to be bi-coastal pretty soon. M

We are looking to relocate there from Bay Area in CA... however I am quite concerned about the ratings for the Hoover Middle and Melbourne Sr HS... Really excellent video, Jake - well done! We're planning on buying an oceanfront condo this year and had been focusing on the Satellite Beach-Indialantic area, but we'll now consider Melbourne Beach area as well. We prefer a more 'laid back' vibe. On a side note; we'd take flying out of MLB any day over a non-stop out of Orlando. Just not worth the dangerous drive, chaotic airport roads and expensive parking, imho :)

Great video. My wife are in the Tampa area and looking to retire to Melbourne / Melbourne Beach. I agree with all the information you have provided. We love there and take several trips a year to Melbourne / Melbourne Beach. I would add 3 restaurants to your list, Cafe Coconut Cove, Hemingway's and Frigates :).

That was all north in satellite. Didn’t affect Melbourne or Melbourne beach to my knowledge.

My wife and i are planning to move to Melbourne. We r currently in co and i cant stand it here anymore. Im a native, it turned into a dump. Anyhow, i plan to spend most of my time offshore and lil inshore saltwater fishing. I cant wait to be WARM
