The irony of the fact that a sound chip made by sony sounded better on a console not manufactured or sold by them is astonishing. Not trying to look down on people who grew up on this version but it really doesn't measure up to the original. Okay it might be unfair on the ps1 since it's ultimately up to the composer/port arranger to get it to sound great.

wow i used to hear this song in those places where ACG things were mainly sold. Back in 1997 to 1999. I think it was a hit back then. Sounds to me quite many songs might also be based on this. I like how song goes like, well, both very passionate and romantic, hot-blooded and full of hope, and all these bright emotions come to place at the same time. These game manufacturers never disappointment us the players and listeners lol

I have zero interest in this series, and yet this one song is absolutely phenomenal. Both the original studio version and this version. Hmm... actually, I AM a big fan of the Klonoa series, and I do think this song suits that series well too. It also helps that they're both owned by Bandai Namco and all.
