From the F5 onwards, Anette has more power and colour than Amy Lee, for a simple reason: Anette is a soprano and Amy Lee is a mezzo-soprano. Amy Lee's F#5 is difficult for her and Anette is as if nothing had happened, the same goes for G#5... both are very good but they are different ranges........For those who say that Anette is not good live, Anette sang non-stop in many concerts, especially on the DDP tour, that was one of the reasons that Tuomas and Tarja clashed, the number of concerts they wanted to sing and those who could, Tarja, taking care of her voice, refused, Anette, who was the new one, accepted and that was the result of many terrible performances, but when her voice was rested it was spectacular.

What is the point? It's 2 different people, so it is clear that their voices will have their own strengths and weaknesses. You can't expect someone that sings different genres of music to have the same voice! Their belt won't be the same lol. Amy Lee will always be my favourite singer for her versatality and her style. 2:03 -> this is one of my favourite songs: Never Go Back (english is not my first language)

I still dont understand why she never sings in her head voice in the 2023 and 24 tours only in weight of the world.

@@feridedogan7653 same 😢. It's a shame she doesn't use it often she is so good at it. She uses it on the end of the dream as well lately but i guess she is now more interested in more Rocky sound i like her more artistic and classic side too atm i would like to hear more stuff like that from her and this opening is very good it takes this song to another magical place 😭

@@mrallsundayy yes i know but they cut it even shorter the head voice part in end of the dream. I like her 2018 Version. She uses now more falsetto register than head voice because they newer music is very Rock. So she belts everything out. She still sounds amazing i just miss the softer parts as Lithium , sweet sacrifice some head voice or at least falsetto little bit lighter vocals than only belting. Is not healthy too.

She also had very good belts to during synthesis era in the end of the dream she managed to hit Eb5s and shatter me she hit high e5 belts so good also very good high head voice notes. i would like her to User her full potential on her voice 😁. And ı really like synthesis version of the weight of the world it's a shame we didnt get the studio version it would be better if they added that one rather then secret door it's a good song to but wotw is Just flawless

Listen to these tracks .. Ghost + Reaper (Dark Element) , Beguile By Night ( Ultima Grace) , and Catcher Of My Dreams ( Anette Olzon Solo) ...Anette is superbly talented and her performances from 2007-24 are consistently phenomenal.

@@larrylindgren9484 Oh yes. Listen to The Escapist or To Whatever End and ask yourself if Amy can belt like that. The question isnt which singer do you prefer, but which one is the better belter. They are not even in the same class when it comes to belting in chest voice.

Comparing her to Olzon is utterly ridiculous...pregnant,toured to death,kidney stone suffering,ill Anette from June - Sept.2012 was still capable of belting that made Lee sound like Roger Waters LMAO

Anette has released excellent albums with 7 different bands this century,she's phenomenal...I think of Amy in a much different manner but I don't know what the point of this was,it isn't flattering at all for her.

Pretty cool. Floor is non operatic, but rather a swing/jazz singer with some black metal and death metal growling and snarling vocals, wh8ch is how i headcanon Sonic the Hedgehog's vocals to be. (Im a sonic and mario fan)
