I know right I just finished watching Why Women Kill and I am on the final season of Desperate Housewives. If there is one think I know about Marc Cherry is that he gets us women he he! I am definitely going to watch Devious Maids next.

Doesn't he know where the camera is? He's looking all around like he does not know where to look.

It looks as though he is in an auditorium. He was trying to address both the questioner and the audience.

Rydell tells it like he imposed his will on her, but Billy Williams said Hepburn gave Rydell fierce hell.

She left the show because she got tired of doing the role. And all she did was complain. She should’ve been more grateful for having the role because the Waltons was an incredible show

Wonderful story and insight. I always wondered what Henry Fonda’s reaction was to this beautiful movie with his daughter. Now after 30+ years, i finally know. Thank you!

There is a clip on KZfaq of the cinematographer, Billy Williams telling the same story. His version has a slightly more protracted and much swearier row before that conclusion. Also that George Cuckor had advised Rydell to resist any test on Day 1. Fun anecdote.

Mark Rydell was part of daytime TV history. From 1956-62, he played Jeff Baker on the soap opera AS THE WORLD TURNS, opposite Rosemary Prinz as Penny Hughes. Jeff and Penny were daytime TV's first supercouple.

Thanks. But this was not the last thing Henry Fonda did. After this, he made a T.V. movie with Myrna Loy.

Sigh, I remember it well. Sounds like a quote from a play, but it's true when I say, "If it weren't for the fact that my pa died, these wonderful words (Luke) and the so-at-home embodiment of character (Harry) would've been mine to play also." I'll never forget that time. That experience. That self growth. The space, sounds, smells, and the car parking!! My sincerest warm wishes to Gary and the ensemble, and my eternal thanks for your abject acceptance of my place within your haven. I can never forget how I let the season down. But as I say, to all my darling students: "Onto the next!"

Definately Olivia Waltons she was amazing at playing her and i also liked her in Roots:The Gift. She is such a pretty woman and she is my idol but her one flaw is that she had plastic surgery or something like that but she is still pretty.
