I take umbridge with the inconsistant wording of "remove it" included in the leaflet because it doesn't elaborate. Playing it so that the trap goes back to my hand feels too easy, but discarding it feels unfair.

I didnt like this set of adventures as much as the others. That said I did like it. I like the second edition, but I think it has yet to equal the first edition wilderland books for content.

But I feel like there are rules missing ,like : what are the actual building cost for the cannon and where to put it after building bc the dragon miniature is to big for the highest wall 😅. Furthermore: how do u play it ? Bc also there is stated that also downsides like Explosion of the cannon May accur ?!? But nothing is written there :/ can you pls help ? <3

Advice from video editor: voice is too low, when editing make it at least -12db or even -6db better, cause it's full audio at my laptop and I can barely hear it and the music is so loud.

10:20 was a wierd transition somehow. what exactly happened? because nightmare switches places but than it was again at the position before and a new nightmare got added and than the same position switch happens again? that was confusing

Wingspan is great with the expansion not changing the distribution of card types so your goal cards still have the same chances of finding the needed cards.

I think it's a great concept, but I feel like you could pepper in levels where it's a "Boss battle" level where you still navigate around trying to dodge traps or have certain objectives to clear the level (hit all 4 boss token spaces to defeat the boss, or deal damage to the boss) It would still be a dice roller, give you some sort of reward at the end and continue from there. If you die while on the boss level, you just don't get any of the rewards from defeating the boss. I think that would be an interesting way to put a twist on it while keeping the core gameplay the same.

13:25 You can't spike railcars that aren't on the rail track, you may spike Railcar shipments which means those railcars are already send from the Loading station (3) to the Shipping station (5). So you can't spike resources to railcars that are in the station (next to the game board).

Hi. Yes this is a great game. I have the same deluxe version. I am trying to get some ships to replace the thin wooden ones. It would look and work better with proper miniatures.

It literally said GAMEWRIGHT on the lower left panel on the back of the rules. The fact it said it on the rules but not on the box screams out fake to me.

I love the battle academy as it taught our whole family how to play, the problem with the one unboxed specifically is that it has many D and E series cards which are now "out of format" meaning you can't go into a tournament and try to play with those cards. While it's unlikely you might want to go to a tournament with a premade deck like this, it's just something to consider. With special sales it can be an affordable way to learn (and a gateway into a very expensive hobby lol) I think target has 20% off all TCG stuff last week. There should be a new format legal edition of this coming out, or already on shelves. You can tell based on which pokemon are on the box - Cinderace is from the Galar region which is the series before Scarlet and Violet. The new set has The charcadet evolution (I forget which one) since charcadet is a new SV pokemon.

First, thanks for the review, it's much appreciated! Second, you REALLY need to go and dive a little further into Mr. Lovecraft before you start belittling him to no end. He renounced his racism in the later years of his life thanks to his friends and colleagues, but most people just tend to forget to mention that little fact and play morality pariahs...irks me to no end.

I don't know how it happens, but the best part about this game is that people who are usually great at bluffing games end up doing terribly at this game.
