I’ve seen suntex 95 in person and in that darker fabric you can easily see through when looking out. Lighter fabrics are harder to see out compared but this one doesn’t obscure your view at all. Now at nighttime with the lights on outside, if you have more than 3 lights for that space it would be easy to see in

how can the housing be tucked inside .. can this be incorporated during the design phase of the home.. so housing is not seen from outside

At a minimum, the header beam above the window or door would have to be raised enough for the roller mechanism to have a space between the inner and outer wall (in other words, make the rough opening taller). It would probably have to be in the building plans to get a building permit. Quite doable if included at the start of a project, more expensive if it’s a change part way through construction, much more expensive as a retrofit.

The shutter comes with a Somfy RTS motor. Somfy offers the Mylink that will allow you to control VIA an app. Both iOS and Android are supported.

These definetaly work to slow down a break in. However, I reckon one can break into one of these things in about a minute or two if they knew what they were doing. Most don't though :)

An intruder will look for the easiest way to access a location. With a shutter like this the location will not be the easiest way to access a location.

The Shading Company Absolutely. I have seen multiple cases where people were undeterred by the sight of a security shutter though! I myself have installed thousands of security shutters in the last 7 years. I have seen it all!

@@JTBCOOL1 I'm not aware of any "one does it all" solution to stop break-ins. You need multiple layers of protection and different complementing systems. You need to buy time until a proper response can be made.
