Absolutely stunning film! Such great footage of many super elusive animals, can tell a lot of time went into making this… was also so cool to see a lot of similar shots to the Queensland scenes in my film. I hope to one day make films to this standard!

I'd be keen to stay in touch, I'm occasionally looking for archive footage and you do nice work. My email is [email protected] Cheers Phil

I was always told a Joey was a baby kangaroo not a koala, but there is a colony of Wallabies near Buxton in the Peak District of the UK. I actually saw them very early morning back in 1976

Uh how I missed the nature films I grew up with, Attenborough's exotic films. They don't show anymore because now it's just nonsense and narcissistic shows that take up all the space in the media.

Australia has several deciduous species apart from Nothofagus gunnii. The red cedar Toona ciliata, white cedar Melia azederach, deciduous fig Ficus superba var. henneana, Flame tree Brachychiton acerifolius, and some other Nothofagus species are semi deciduous. There are more deciduous as well I don't know their names.

Thats right, thanks for watching. Yes this has been pointed out to me previously, I omtted the words 'endemic temperate' in the narration which i have addressed as a factual correction included in the video description. An attempt at trying to simplify the words which has come back to bite me. Appreciate the feedback. Cheers Phil

I'm not judging you mate, you are free to call it whatever you like. I'm a documentary film maker and I need to present the information as factually correct. I dont care what anyone calls it. I still call it Fraser Island myself, just a habit from travelling there for many years before it was renamed. Cheers Phil
