Almost $1300 us dollars for this? That is totally obsurd. I'll either 1. Buy better bolt cutters and just deal with it or 2. Ryobi sells the same type of tool for under $200 us dollars.

Thank you for your comment on this tool. The Phoenix Cordless Bolt Seal Cutter is purpose-built for the transport, shipping, and warehousing industries. It works perfectly with a single action of the jaws to cut ½ inch or 12.7mm high tensile ISO shipping container bolt seals. It also comes with 2 x 18v batteries, a charger, and a carry case to store it all in. I want to point out that the Phoenix and the Ryobi are two different tools. If you are after a tool to cut lightweight material up to 3/8 inch mid-steel or harden steel up to ¼ inches, like fencing wire, mid-steel chain and other DYI projects, I'm sure the Ryobi tool would be perfect. Also, the Ryobi model doesn't come with batteries or a carry case because it is part of Ryobi's +ONE series of tools. I hope this helps with selecting the right tool for the right job.
