Take it to a shop and they will tell you all of those parts are bad and need replacing. They love to charge you for unnecessary things.

I am sorry but this is really bad. So many procedures are skipped, which SHOULD NOT be, disc needs to be skimed if in spec's, caliper sliding pins need to be cleaned and new grease applied, brake pads sliding grooves need to be cleaned and metal sliders replaced or cleaned also greasing them up does not hurt, caliper piston needs inspection and cleaning, caliper contact area for outside brake pad needs to be cleaned and although grease on them is not required it will not hurt, same goes for the piston. Showing incomplete procedure is teaching amateurs that this is a proper job (which is not) and this is a bad practice, because they see you as professionals and they WILL follow your instructions to the letter.

My 2001 Mk1 Skoda Octavia 4x4 petrol turbo hatchback still looks great and runs beautifully even though it has done 212,000 miles. I decided to replace the air filter following you guide. My configuration was a bit different to the one in the demonstration but it made no difference. It went as smoothly as in shown the video. Brilliant, thanks. It will be 23 years old in November 2024 and was bought as a six month old ex demonstrator with 4384 miles on the clock.

I like your tutorial videos very much. However it would be cool if you could add thr torque specs as well. I'm very strong and I can easily over tighten the nuts, I'm sure other people can do the same as well. Thank you.

Can i ask a question? Normaly maybe 30k miles will be achieved by 2 or 3 years for someone who use a car regularly to work or other daily activity But if you have a car that not being used regularly, maybe it only achieved 5 or 6k miles a year. Is it okay to change automatic transmission fluid once in 5 - 6 years? Or maybe there a certain maximum time interval that you should change that fluid beside from the car mileage like engine oil (which i know is 12 month that should be changed even the car is not reached certain mileage like 3 - 4 miles a year)

My local Toyota dealer quoted me $430 to have this done! hahaha. The parts are easily found aftermarket for $10 per side and looks like a 30 minute job even with a floor jack and hand tools. The only potential issue would be corrosion and needing to cut off the old parts.

We cannot show all the nuances and problems during replacement; this is all individual and it is not always possible to solve them at home. To avoid this, we always recommend that replacements be carried out by specialized car services.
