Are the hot rods built from road cars or are they more like "sillouhette" racers
@nationalhotrods84423 жыл бұрын
They are a space frame chassis with a fibreglass body shell so like a sillouhette. They are rear wheel drive with a 2litre engine that produces around 250 hp

What a great song, forever reminds me of John Christie's tribute to his Dad at Tullyroan.

I'd love to see a full build video series for a National Hot rod, the ones with still pictures are okay, but they don't really convey the amount of work that goes into building these great race cars.

What a c*nt - Nationals are supposed to be a non-contact formula FFS! He punted the first couple of cars out of his way, so no wonder the next ones just let him go. Fair play to the driver that got back past him and stayed ahead, even if his car did get a whack at most corners. Maybe he should try Saloon Stocks like his Dad - who just happens to run Spedeworth now!

so you won a world final,1 by getting the tyres changed to suit u, you didnt start in the correct grid position on the 2nd restart and then you go and win it on someone elses misfortune. congratulations #daddyschampion

Blandy was absolutely flying at one point! He had a good ding dong with hunny in race 2 I think it was. There was more bumper action in the nationals than what was going on in the 1600 bangers! Shane Was a little unlucky to hit the wall later when the tyres went off, They have tough panels considering they are not metal!! Good meeting and what a red hot day. Best turn out I have seen at Hednesford in a few years tbh.
