Hloo sir!! Thank you for your valuable words which i had struggled during my studies..but i have a question sir, how to control the inner thoughts of past event which make me regret and also thinking about future events which may occur after a long time and not about some activity to be done on that day .its really thoughts of my past life event that kept me wandering..what to do for which no action can be done??

No Slide, No Visual Aids, but I can understand it fully by listening attentively. Very helpful and very relatable as a student. Will implement it right away. Thanks so much for sharing this! *Below are the summary* Start with a proper plan 1. Pre-reading Objective: To get into reading or focus zone Skimming/ Preview - About three minutes of Skimming through text and the boxes in the book *VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE ACTUAL READING* 2. Actual Reading Objective: Focus and Comprehension - Single Tasking i) Highlight the important points - pull yourself back to present and refer main points in the future 3. Post-reading Objective: Retention Output principle i) Summarise each chapter from memory after reading - if can’t recall then go back to read and summarise again do it for every chapter or session ii) Implement (EXTRA points from me) - Apply the lesson learnt in the calendar ii) Share (Teach, Discuss) - Share it to your family and friends about what you have learnt It remind me of this quote when I heard about plan in the beginning. “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail” - Benjamin Franklin

Yes, the school where they teach you how to learn is Montessori, where you have plenty of opportunities for repetition, exploration and learning by making mistakes!

This is brilliant! Your technique of Attention, Comprehension, Recall, and Application is very similar to what Montessori Teachers do with children when presenting new material. First, they introduce the new concept, and then the teacher proceeds with a Three-Period Lesson to check if the child has learned it.

I would add that using a note card system helps with all of these 4 processes. Ryan Holiday had a blog on how he uses the note card system. He also goes over how it is a modified version of the system he learned while being Robert Greens apprentice helping with research for one of books. The note card processes helps with the checkpoint part of comprehension. But it also helps with association to the cards physical location. So you can organizing the note cards into a long term set of boxes by categories and label them with some kind of numbering system or category system. Then if you are working on a project you can practice step 3 and 4 by searching through the cards and pulling out and rearranging the ones needed for a specific project. Then with the number system you will be able to refill them into your main note card boxes when your done with the project.

The video script discusses how to improve memory and learning by focusing on attention, comprehension, recall, and application. It emphasizes the importance of actively engaging with information to enhance retention and understanding. By implementing these four habits, individuals can significantly boost their memory and learning capabilities. Key moments: 00:26 The human brain has a vast storage capacity of 2.5 million GB, yet people struggle with forgetfulness. Memory training can lead to extraordinary abilities, such as memorizing long sequences of numbers or colors. -Memory training can enhance the brain's ability to remember and recall vast amounts of information. -Personal experiences and achievements in memory feats can inspire others to believe in their own memory potential. 06:11 Attention is key to memory retention and recall. Smartphone distractions can hinder the registration process, affecting overall memory performance. -Importance of attention in memory. Paying attention aids memory retention and recall, crucial for effective learning. -Memory process: Registration, retention, and recall. Proper registration leads to better retention and recall. 11:15 Turning off notifications during learning improves focus, understanding before remembering enhances retention, and associating new information with past knowledge aids comprehension. -Turning off notifications during learning enhances focus and quality of results. -Understanding before remembering is crucial for retention and avoiding forgetfulness. -Comprehension should be the primary focus in learning to improve retention and recall. -Association of new information with past knowledge aids in better comprehension and memory retention. 16:34 Making connections and associations, along with using the checkpoint technique, are effective ways to improve comprehension and retention of information. -Connecting new information with what you already know enhances comprehension. Seeking help from experts or discussing with others can aid in making these connections. -The checkpoint technique involves pausing at predetermined spots to summarize and rephrase key ideas, which boosts comprehension and retention. 21:54 Recall sessions help train memory through self-testing and teaching. Application of knowledge leads to deep learning and lifelong results. -Recall sessions involve self-testing and teaching others. Self-testing after learning segments helps in memory retention. -Application of learned information is crucial for deep learning. Input addiction can hinder the transition from learning to applying knowledge. -Deep learning requires attention, comprehension, recall, and application. Shallow learning results from lack of application and deep understanding. Generated by sider.ai

Wow..our ancestors from vedic period, old Rushi's & Muni's mentioned these in old scriptures. Also taught of various MUDRA's of MEDITATIONS with different fingures & palms position. It also used by Lord Gautama Buddha during his meditation & abled to open all 7 CHAKRAS of body means they unlock supernatural powers. If any person able to do so, they considered close to God with supernatural powers, beyond science.
