Yeah that tick throw has bailed me out so many times, but it is better to do F1 then command grab because the only way to beat that is to armor through. Also I think motaro is a better kameo for him because he helps him out against zoning (reflect and teleport) and also makes his strings +13 on block (tail shot).

When I first watched this, it was NOT easy. It took 2 days for me to finally get it down, and what I really had problems with was the round house kick into the knee buster. So once I finally got it done, the second day, I had such a relief, and it felt great finally getting it

I just wish I could see more improvement already. I've been playing for a month and I'm just not where I want to be. It'd be one thing if I was winning some matches, but I'm just getting wrecked and I'm starting to lose my patience

It’s just that the input/output ratio for most of the roster is vastly different. It’s much easier to play other characters and get a lot more mileage out of them for the work you have to put in… Johnny has every single tool in the game you could ask for besides a projectile… Best movement in the game, stagger pressure, plus frames out the ass, launching overhead/low mix, full screen armoured punish with shadow kick, an install with star power, command dash that is projectile invulnerable, high combo damage with nut punch enders for Oki, best jump ins in the game, advancing mids with good recovery, etc… When you play a character like Geras, you understand how privileged some of the other characters on the roster are for absolutely no reason… The effort required doesn’t match the payoff. You’d expect that a character that is harder to pilot would yield more in terms of advantages BECAUSE they require more effort to use effectively… But it feel like the exact opposite for MK1… Ermac has some of the most complicated combos with all of his cancels, but his combo scaling is assbutter. Nitara has 900 HP with crazy movement, but her low/overhead mix is mad punishable on block. Geras has a completely unique playstyle revolving around charging his hourglass and getting timestop cancels with Motaro teleport, but has some of the worst normals in the game… Why would I play these interesting unique characters when I could just spam strings with Peacemaker or Johnny and stay safe?

I have question, i want to main two characters but this will deffinitly put me in a bit of disadvantage, because i'm guy that likes have other options then all the time play one character, and its my first Mortal combat i started to play except of my childhood when i had ps 1, 2 and i played then tekken and MK. and as a nostaligc thing i had from my child hood i decided to play Scorpion and Subzero, btw thatnk to you now i know which one to pick first as scorpion will be my first character for easier learning curve. ANd my question is should i focus for 2 weeks on one character and try to amster them out which means i will spend less time in game bc playing one character over and over is boring for me, or should i just learn combos from both and have fun with it. I want to play rankeds etc maybe even try win some local tournaments, but i will do not want sacrifice my fun for this. but losing over and over is no fun either. I'm waiting for some response thank you

I am really struggling with going into Viltrumite Stance and Thragged Though The Mud, it's like the gap is too big and he just reaches into nothing. I've only really played Injustice though so I'm a bit of newbie at MK and Omni-Man in general. Does anyone have any extra advice please? Thanks
