Great review on these!!! I personally use the CP8 for a monitor. I play drums and don't always play with groups where I can use my IEM's. It's light and and sounds AMZING! It also cranks loud enough to hear perfectly with plugs in. One of the bands I play in uses the K series mains and the CP line is on par with those. WAY better than any monitor I have ever used in the past. For a little 8" driver, it has great low end response. I don't drive a crazy amount of bass through it but, it sure has been able to handle ANYTHING I've thrown at it. If you're just running vocals for rehearsal, two of these would be more than adequate for most bands. If you need to run Keys or any instruments along with vocals, I would go with the CP12's. For a guitarist / vocalist duo at a coffee shop, one of the CP8's on a stand would be more than enough. A little workhorse for sure!

Do you think an Everse 12 would sound significantly worse than a QSC k.12.2? ... I want a speaker with a battery and I'm torn between buying an everse 8 for around town or selling my k.12.2 to buy everse 12 (instead of having 2 speakers)... around town would be acoustic guitar and vocals, but my use case for k.12 at home is a power amp for my electric guitar modelers and also playing practice tracks... would I miss the QSC at home if I went with one everse 12 speaker for everything?

Just got EV12 and have QSC K10.2 You will not miss QSC at home plus EV doesn't have annoying fan noise. If you need 130dB+ outdoors or large gigs then K12 is answer.

Was cp8 and cp12 makes same sound? Or cp12 makes a larger sound than cp8 I want to use it for outdoor worship with acoustic guitar and speech purpose

Hello @anooppintu3378, yes it can in two ways, 1st you can connect it to the wireless body pack then to the mixer or the converter to XLR then go straight to the mixer. Hope this helps. Thanks

I think the cp12 has better sound quality than the k12. And you could daisy chain a few more of them on top of the KW181 subs. That would be WAY Cool ❤ :-)

Hi. I just bought the New Mackie profx 6v3+. I am running windows 10. I downloaded the new drivers 5.5.8.0. For some weird reason my computer keeps on freezing once I plug in usb. I can't run any other applications when the Mackie is plugged in..any idea what the problem CV could be??

It now makes sense to me why they discontinued the MGP series because it has almost everything that this has to some extent in analogue. You would expect more than two effects engines just not good enough. That being said the clarity on this mixer is awesome. I got to try it last week and was impressed. Just thought the fx section was a bit of a disappointment. I feel if behringer built the airXR series in a console format, they would put this yamaha D3 to shame and i bet the price would be a lot cheaper

true but for the price i cant complain myself since this mixer does have great clarity user friendly for consumers from analog to digital However you can alway climb to the next series which is alot more and offer alot more as well. But for the price what it offers over all is a good choice. The FX yes i agree it could have been a bit more flexible but im still trying to find a work around. Thx for the response and support!

Great video review and presentation! I have the Rane 12s & 70 mixer, so I'm still on the fence, but this controller checks more boxes for me than any other has to date! 2thumbsUp.

@RaneDJ make a 1272 Performer! I'll GLADLY PAY $4,000! But it has to have a multi-touch 10" display, wifi, Stems w/ fx, 4 channel ins in which fx can be applied, music aggregate streaming, Bluetooth, SSD hard drive slot, Ableton Link, Booth & Zone outs, etc. @denon_dj take notes!

Rane 4 Controller is dope, i owns One in 2024, no issues or Nothing’… Few years ago’ there was… ISSUES, many dj’s not Reading or .. Hope you are still replying. I just want to know if you can use the BT Air as a controller in the way you would use a regular lighting controller in real time. I see were you can set up combinations and move through the different circles that you create. I am just wondering how much flexability you actually have.

they need to re-release this product, how many did they make? 10? can't find them anywhere to buy! there's a lot of "cosmos" style ball lights around like this however only the tilt is infinite. really, you want both pan and tilt to be infinite!!
