The quattro was a powerhouse, I believe it was one of the earliest all wheel drive rally cars. I love the old angular designs the cars used to have back then.

The compact format might be fine, but I think it's wrong to sacrifice the shakedown for a super special. If they want a super special, they should just have a super special. A 50 hour rally isn't going to make much difference versus a 48 hour rally.

WRC have driver's profiles on KZfaq, very short videos, I'm not sure if it's what you want. On their website they have a bunch of podcasts titled 'backstories', it's a good one I would say. The one I listened to was with Fourmaux; when he started rallying, how he did medical school while competing, etc.

WRC Podcasts are good, Dirtfish behind the scenes/Bloopers are good, the insta accounts of the drivers and also really good is M-Sports Roadbook and Hyundai Motorsports Liason series. Kalle Rovanperas KZfaq channel is also good.

My dad found a Lancia boss' wallet back in 1988, and as a thank he got a booklet of the Delta HF Integrale. Now its in my possesion, a great piece of history.
